SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Legoland debuted a new land for youngsters as well as a train attraction for park guests Thursday.Park officials welcomed in the addition of Duplo Playtown and a new mini-locomotive in a ribbon cutting with families from Ronald McDonald House Charities. A special check presentation of ,000 was also made to Ronald McDonald House. The park says the new Duplo Playtown will give guests the best views of Miniland U.S.A. from high atop the theme park. "My dear wife asked me, when is all of this going to end?!" Mendenhall laughs.He decided he'd end the challenge when they went on vacation, so his wife promptly planned one to Palm Springs. Throughout the journey, Mark took a picture each day with employees, friends, and strangers, proof of his amazing streak.But his mission had another cause.
