Three restaurants associated with celebrity chef Mario Batali will be closing in Las Vegas.Batali has been accused of sexual misconduct. The restaurants will close July 27. A letter written by Joe Bastianich with B&B Hospitality Group says that Las Vegas Sands Corp. decided to end the relationship. The letter also says that the group will help employees transition into new positions. An earlier report said that B&B was "actively negotiating" to buy out the celebrity chef.Batali stepped down from daily operations of his restaurant empire and his cooking show after the allegations surfaced in December. (KGTV) - The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department detailed the circumstances leading deputies to search Tuesday the Thousand Oaks home of actress Heather Locklear.The actress was arrested at her home February 25 on suspicion of felony domestic battery and three counts of battery on a peace officer.Locklear told deputies she would shoot them if they ever came to her house again, investigators said.RELATED: Heather Locklear?arrested on domestic battery chargesAccording to the search warrant, deputies looked for a firearm Locklear has registered in her name but did not find it on the property.Locklear is scheduled to appear in court March 13. 676

THORNTON, Colorado – The three victims of Wednesday’s shooting at a Thornton Walmart were identified Thursday afternoon by the coroner’s office for Adams and Broomfield counties.They are 52-year-old Pamela Marques of Denver, 66-year-old Carlos Moreno of Thornton, and 26-year-old Victor Vasquez of Denver.Carlos Moreno was a structural trades technician at the Auraria Higher Education Center in Denver, the campus confirmed to Denver7 television station. Family members of Moreno’s also wrote on Facebook that he had been killed.“I am in shock,” wrote a niece of his. “Please keep his wife and kids in your prayers. This is such a great loss to our family.”His cousin wrote on Facebook: “Carlos was a good husband, father, grandfather, cousin, friend man. I am blessed to have had you in my life. Please pray for the family.”Victor Vasquez was a father of two young girls and had another child on the way, according to his fiancé and a GoFundMe page started by a family friend.His fiancé told Denver7 she was “completely distraught” by Vasquez’s death.Police arrested 47-year-old Scott Ostrem Thursday morning in connection to the shooting. There are 88 national park forests in the US you could choose from that would allow you to cut your own Christmas tree.And all you need is a Christmas tree cutting permit.According to the U.S. Forest Service, visitors need a Forest Service-issued permit, which is available for purchase on the Recreation.gov website or at local offices.According to a press release, the Forest Service began selling permits in a "modernize" way on Oct. 15, as a way to minimize in-person interaction during the coronavirus pandemic.The program, the agency said, is also good for the forest."The Christmas tree permit program is also a tool used in thinning dense, unhealthy stands of trees," the agency stated in an October press release. "Forest health experts help identify areas where Christmas trees can be cut, opening up forage for wildlife and allowing the remaining trees to grow larger."According to the Forest Service, there are specific guidelines to follow, including having your permit on you at all times. Thousands of pages of interview transcripts with the participants of the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting shed new light on how eager Donald Trump Jr. and senior members of the Trump campaign were to obtain damaging information on Hillary Clinton — and how frustrated and angry they were that the material did not come to fruition.The nearly 2,000 pages of interviews do not appear to contain information that would change the course of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Trump's team and Russia. But the transcripts released by the Senate Judiciary Committee fill in new details about how Trump Jr., President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort were expecting a bombshell from Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.Rob Goldstone, the British music publicist who arranged the Trump Tower meeting, told the committee he was anticipating a "smoking gun" from Veselnitskaya when he urged Trump Jr. to take the meeting, even though he thought it was a "bad idea and that we shouldn't do it.""I just sent somebody an email that says I'm setting up a meeting for someone that is going to bring you damaging information about somebody who was running to become the President of the United States," Goldstone said. "I thought that was worthy of the words 'smoking gun,' yes."The Senate Judiciary Committee's release Wednesday of the Trump Tower transcripts and hundreds of pages of exhibits provide the most comprehensive view yet into the circumstances surrounding the controversial meeting and the details of the roughly 20-minute encounter, in which Trump's team was expecting dirt from Veselnitskaya.The meeting -- and whether President Trump knew about it -- has become a central focus of Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, as well as the congressional Russia investigations.
