"Leave it on for at least one minute, and then you can rinse it off."Samson said not all household cleaners are the same, and do not have the same contact-surface time that is required. He recommends reading the labels of the cleaner you intend to use.Larkin and Samson said it is easy to make your own cleaners at home. However, be cautious about mixing chemicals, and be aware what you are cleaning with."The chemistry of mixing a chlorine-based cleaner with an ammonia-based cleaner can be deadly to those in the immediate area," said Samson. NEW YORK — The American Museum of Natural History is removing a statue of Theodore Roosevelt on horseback with a Native American man and an African man on his sides after objections that it symbolizes colonial expansion and racial discrimination. Mayor Bill de Blasio said Sunday the city supports removal of the statue because it depicts Black and Indigenous people as subjugated and racially inferior. The statue at the museum's Central Park West entrance depicts Roosevelt on the horse with the Native American man and the African man standing on either side. NEW YORK (AP) — Author-commentator Jeffrey Toobin has been suspended by the New Yorker and is stepping away from his job as CNN's senior legal analyst pending what the cable network is calling a "personal matter." Vice reported earlier Monday that Toobin had exposed himself during a Zoom meeting. According to Vice, members of the New Yorker and radio station WNYC were on the Zoom call when the incident occurred last week.In a statement Monday afternoon, the New Yorker said Toobin had been "suspended while we investigate the matter" and declined further comment.
