INDIANAPOLIS — Kohl's says an issue with their third-party payment system is to blame for holds on customer accounts, unfilled Black Friday orders and even some customers being charged multiple times.Bailey Webster said she ordered a gaming system online on Black Friday at Kohls.com. When she woke up Saturday morning, Webster says she had an email from Kohl's saying the order was canceled because the item was sold out. Instead of canceling the order immediately and returning her funds, Webster said Kohl's tried to re-charge for the item, which was still out of stock.  592

IRVINGTON, Indiana — An Indiana man has a warning for drivers who park anywhere Bird Scooters are known to be after he says he was left with hundreds of dollars in repairs after one of them blew over and damaged his vehicle. "It was a windy day. I think it was gusting 40 or 50 miles an hour that day," Matt Kawiecki said. The damage to Kawiecki's car was estimated at more than 0, but Bird tells him they're only willing to pay a fraction of that cost. "I offered to get multiple quotes, to see if this is a fair price — no response," said Kawiecki. He says the company was responsive when he first called to report the damage, but after he got the quote to fix the damage they stopped responding as much. "The quote came back at over 0. So I was a little surprised, just from a dent. Bird offered to pay 25 percent," Kawiecki said. He says it isn't even about the money, he's upset that the company won't take responsibility for the damage their scooter caused. "It's not about the money. I could care less about the money," Kawiecki said. "When they are not owning up to something as small and petty as 0 or 0 for a billion evaluated company, it's a little bit surprising."In the meantime, Kawiecki is urging other drivers to park away from scooters, so they don't have a similar incident. WRTV television station in Indianapolis reached out to Bird Scooters to ask them about the company's obligations to cover damage caused by unoperated scooters. In an email, the spokesperson for the company said they recommend you report all incidents involving the scooters to the company and their support team will investigate all reports.  1702

It’s time to come together. America has spoken and we must respect the decision. More unites us than divides us; we can find common ground. I hope the president-elect can embody this. I wish him good luck and I wish the president a successful final few weeks. God bless the USA!— Rep. Will Hurd (@HurdOnTheHill) November 7, 2020 336

It's been a while since Austin Rick was in the spotlight but after a Facebook message he posted last week the former country music singer's name is making the rounds again."I decided that I want to shine a light on the monster that is Kirt Webster and I want to hopefully give a voice or at least some confidence and prevent anyone else from becoming his victim in the future," Rick said. Rick moved to Nashville in 2008, the then 21-year-old says his relationship with Webster Public Relations CEO Kirt Webster began in good spirits but things changed and ultimatums were given. "I can make sure you're never broke again, all kinds of these things, but you have to do what I want you to do and you have to follow in my way," Rick explained. Soon, Rick said the incidents began. "He said to me I want there to be fireworks in your career but there has to first be fireworks between the two of us," he said. During one incident, Rick said Webster feared he'd back out of an opportunity to be in Playgirl magazine. "In order to prove that to me I want you to strip down naked right now in front of me. So I stripped down naked in front of him. Then he says come here closer to me and he starts performing oral sex on me," explained Rick. He said Webster continued to reach out to him for years, even sent text messages as recently as this summer. Through a spokesperson Webster denies the allegations saying, "as a single adult, Mr. Webster has had multiple relationships over the course of his professional life, all of which have been consensual.  This includes a brief relationship with Mr. Rick. It saddens Mr. Webster that nine years later, after Mr. Rick's music career has been stagnant, Mr. Rick has taken the opportunistic approach of mischaracterizing that relationship and posting untrue allegations."Webster represents several big artists like Kid Rock, Dolly Parton and Cyndi Lauper.  1988

INDIANAPOLIS -- If you believe the latest conspiracy theory you should probably take the next couple of days to finish your bucket list because the end of the world is coming this weekend. That said, we wouldn't suggest skipping work just yet.The latest theory suggests that on Saturday, September 23, “Planet X” will crash into Earth causing the apocalypse. The man behind that theory, David Meade, even authored a book called “Planet X – The 2017 Arrival.” His original theory suggested that the world would end a few days earlier, but it was adjusted based on the date of the most recent solar eclipse.Meade says his claims are rooted in Christianity – and that the date coincides with biblical history, falling 33 days after the total solar eclipse.  "Jesus lived for 33 years. The name Elohim, which is the name of God to the Jews, was mentioned 33 times (in the Bible)," he told the Washington Post. "It's a very biblically significant, numerologically significant number."Meade’s attempt to predict the end of the world is not the first one to go viral, and not even the first to claim the fictional planet, Niburu, would cause the end to come.NASA debunked claims of Nibiru’s existence years ago and dedicated an entire page to the December 21, 2012, apocalypse predictions, even creating a question and answer and a video titled “Beyond 2012: Why the World Didn’t End.”They have since updated that page in reference to the most recent “prediction.”“The planet in question, Nibiru, doesn’t exist,” said NASA. “There will be no collision.”The story of Nibiru has been around for years and has been recycled into numerous apocalyptic fables over time, this is just the latest one to surface - according to NASA – and it likely won’t be the last. 1772
