BEIJING, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli and his Russian counterpart Arkady Dvorkovich Wednesday agreed to expand energy cooperation between the two countries.
Since 2011, Chinese government has channeled 580 million yuan (about 85 million U.S. dollars) to help other developing countries to cope with climate change, through various initiatives ranging from low-carbon and adaptation projects to capacity building activities.
There are 21 U.S.- China EPC projects dating back to the program's inception in 2015. In the last two years, these projects attracted 135 million U.S. dollars investment and are projected to save 67,000 tons of coal equivalent (TCE).
