Attorney General William Barr is not sending the "principal conclusions" of special counsel Robert Mueller's report to lawmakers Saturday, multiple congressional sources and a DOJ official tell CNN.In a letter to lawmakers Friday, Barr wrote that he may be in a position to share the principal conclusions "this weekend."Barr wrote in his letter that throughout the investigation, Justice Department leaders never told the special counsel a proposed action should not be pursued.The completion of the special counsel's investigation marks the end of one of the most dramatic chapters in Donald Trump's presidency, one that led to numerous criminal charges against and guilty pleas by some of his closest associates. As President Donald Trump moves forward with plans to build additional physical barriers along the southern border, his administration will have to contend with a slew of lawsuits challenging the national emergency declaration allowing him, in part, to do so.So far, at least four lawsuits have been filed challenging the declaration. As the State of Massachusetts is considering a ban of youth tackle football, parents and former NFL players rallied on Tuesday to fight the proposed ban. Massachusetts Youth Football Alliance led the rally at the Massachusetts capitol, urging lawmakers to vote against the ban. Under the law, flag and touch football would still be permitted at all ages. The bill would prohibit schools and organizations from allowing children in the seventh grade or younger from participating in tackle football. The law would be punishable by a ,000 fine. Former Patriots linebacker Andre Tippett expressed his opposition to the proposed legislation. "As a lifelong participant and fan of the game of football, I've seen firsthand how the values of character, leadership, discipline, resilience and teamwork can play an immeasurable role in the development of young boys and girls that participate in youth tackle football," Tippett said in a statement to NFL.com.But bill sponsor Rep. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Friday that his government will pay Canadian victims' families of last week's incident involving a plane being shot down in Iran.The families will receive ,000 CAD each. A total of 57 victims from Canada were on board the flight that originated from Tehran bound for Kiev. All 176 on board were killed. Late last week, the Iranian government said that unintentionally shot down the aircraft. This came after initally claiming that a mechanical error caused the plane crash. "What happened last week was nothing short of a national tragedy, " Trudeau said on Friday.
