Lowe's will host two pandemics friendly drive-thru curbside trick-or-treat events at all its locations the week of Halloween.The home improvement company announced they would host the events on Oct. 22 and Oct. 29 from 6-7 p.m."We know that customers still want to celebrate Halloween, even if the holiday may look different for us this year. While the pandemic has changed many elements of everyday life, the tradition of trick-or-treating doesn't have to be one of them," said Joe McFarland, Lowe's executive vice president of stores, in the press release. "Our associates take great pride in serving our communities, and as we all find new ways to safely celebrate the holiday, we look forward to welcoming families to our drive-through curbside trick-or-treating events this year."To reserve yourself a spot for their Halloween experience, you must sign-up on their Lowe's DIY website. Marana, Arizona police say a bride-to-be was taken into custody on Monday morning for driving under the influence. Around 10:30 a.m., officers responded to an intersection for a report of a three-car collision. Police say 32-year-old Amber Young was on her way to her wedding was arrested for DUI. One person was also transported to the hospital for minor injuries, police said. A driver was arrested for DUI this AM while driving to her wedding. @MaranaPD officers arrived at OG/Thornydale at approx 1030 reference a three vehicle collision. Iota struck Monday evening as a Category 4 hurricane, hitting nearly the same location as Hurricane Eta two weeks earlier. By early Wednesday, Iota had dissipated over El Salvador. But the storm’s torrential rains remain a threat.Iota came ashore along almost exactly the same stretch of Nicaragua’s Caribbean coast that was devastated by an equally powerful Hurricane Eta just 13 days earlier.Iota had intensified into an extremely dangerous Category 5 storm during the day Monday, but the U.S. National Hurricane Center says it weakened slightly as it neared the coast late Monday and made landfall with maximum sustained winds of 155 mph (250 kph).Eta’s torrential rains saturated the soil in the region, meaning Iota's rains have nowhere to go and could cause deadly landslides. 1125

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR, Calif. (KGTV) -- A Marine Corps helicopter crashed during a routine training mission over the El Centro area Tuesday afternoon, according to officials. The CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter from 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing crashed around 2:35 p.m. Four crew members were aboard the aircraft.In a press release, the Marine Corps wrote that the status of all four crew members is, "presumed dead pending positive identification."The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. The names of the deceased will be withheld until family has been notified.  617

LOS ANGLES (CNS) - The FBI Friday released a more specific location of that person wearing a jet pack spotted in the air by pilots just west of the Long Beach (710) Freeway in the Cudahy and South Gate areas.The pilot of American Airlines flight 1997 radioed the LAX tower Sunday evening to make the unusual report of somebody apparently flying at about 3,000 feet with a jet pack.The FBI released a map with the location of the pilot and advised, "Anyone with info about activity on or above the ground at the location depicted here should call the FBI." 563
