WASHINGTON — During his opening comments at a Congressional hearing on Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci — the nation's top infectious disease expert — reiterated his confidence that a viable vaccine for COVID-19 would be developed by the end of the calendar year.Fauci says he believes that "it will be when, not if" that there will be millions of doses of a viable vaccine available by the end of 2020.Fauci made those comments Tuesday before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. VISTA, Calif. (KGTV)- New details are emerging about a weekend murder investigation at a house in Vista. Neighbors tell 10News that a husband was arrested for shooting his wife and the two had a troubled history. A suspect in this case was arrested Saturday night by members of the San Diego Sheriff's Homicide Unit. Deputies report that he has been identified as fifty-seven-year-old Andrew Thomas Smith of Vista and he has been booked for murder at the Vista Detention Facility. He is being held without bail. The victim's family has been notified of her death. Deputies report that she has been positively identified as Jean Moore Smith, a fifty-nine-year-old resident of Vista and she was Andrew’s wife. I would like to share why I'm grateful that I was discovered on May 5, 2017."His wife stood then, talking about rehabilitation and forgiveness. Walmart just unveiled a new online shop for officially licensed military-branded products.The company said the showcase features about 3,000 items emblazoned with logos from the five branches of the U.S. military -- Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.The items include a "Air Force Dad" T-shirt, a Marines dartboard, and a Coast Guard toy helicopter.The Walmart collaboration aims "to build brand awareness and create multiple touch points for Americans to show support to the U.S. Army," according to a statement from Paul Jensen, the U.S. Army's director of trademark licensing.Walmart says each military branch has approved the suppliers, and the licensing deals mean that the military will collect royalty payments on all of the sales. VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) --  A California Highway patrol car assisting with construction was hit by a tire just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night. The incident, caused when a Chevy Silverado lost a spare tire, happened on the westbound 78 near the Sycamore Avenue, according to CHP. Several people swerved to avoid the tire as it entered the highway, causing at least three crashes. Lanes were closed for a little more than one hour. No CHP officers were injured, but the patrol car was towed from the scene. At this time it's unclear if the driver of the Silverado knew that the tire was lost.  637
