SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One person is dead after a shooting in the Mountain View area Wednesday.San Diego Police responded to reports of a shooting just before 3 p.m. in the 3500 block of Florence Lane. Officers arrived to find a victim in an alley suffering from a gunshot wound, according to City News Service.The victim, described only as a male, was pronounced dead at the scene.The suspected shooter was described as a man who appeared in his 30s, wearing shots and a black tank top. He seen fleeing the area with another person in a silver Dodge Ram pickup or similar truck, CNS reported.SDPD is investigating. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating after they say a man was stabbed while sitting on a bench at Balboa Park early Sunday morning.The stabbing happened on the 2000 block of Park Boulevard at 12:26 a.m. Police reported that the suspect walked up to the 29-year-old victim and asked him for a cigarette.After telling the suspect he didn’t have one, the victim was stabbed in the neck, according to police.The wound was non-life threatening and the victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition, police say.Police are still looking for the suspect.   The assailant is described as a tanned Asian male wearing a blue jacket and about 5'5" tall. 684

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One person is dead after being hit and killed by an unknown vehicle in Clairemont on Sunday night.San Diego Police say the pedestrian was in the 4100 block of Ashford St. near Marlesta Dr. when they were hit by a vehicle just after 8 p.m.The vehicle fled the scene. Police are looking for a dark gray or black Dodge pick-up truck. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - President Donald Trump said San Diego "needs a wall" while he toured eight border wall prototypes along the county's southern border Tuesday.During his visit, the president stopped intermittently during his inspection of the structures to discuss the wall and, at times, slam the state over its immigration policies."For the people that say no wall, if you didn't have walls over here you wouldn't even have a country," Trump said at the prototypes. "And, by the way, the state of California is begging us to build walls in certain areas. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are searching for a gunman after a teenager was shot Friday night outside of a movie theater in Escondido.The shooting happened around 8:50 p.m. at the Regal Cinema on West Valley Parkway in Escondido.Police say the victim was shot in the calf and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.The shooting is believed to be related to fight among a group of teenagers in the strip mall.They are now reviewing surveillance video in their investigation of the incident. 513
