(AP) — An egg has been laid in a nest shared by two bald eagles in Southern California and nature lovers will anxiously watch for the hatching via an online live feed .U.S. Forest Service biologist Robin Eliason said Wednesday that the parents will share incubation duties for the next month or so. Eliason expects the hatchling will arrive in early April.The video feed shows an eagle nestling on the egg Thursday as strong, cold winds blow through the San Bernardino National Forest. A count completed late last year found 11 bald eagles living in the forest east of Los Angeles.The Institute for Wildlife Studies web page has thousands of comments from people watching the feed. Baton Rouge Police Officer Blane Salamoni has been fired for violating use-of-force polices in the Alton Sterling shooting, Chief Murphy Paul told reporters Friday evening while also releasing four videos, several of which graphically show Sterling as he lay dying.Paul said Howie Lake II, the other officer involved in the July 2016 incident, will be suspended for three days without pay for losing his temper during the incident.The four videos that were released include a convenience store surveillance video, two police-worn body camera videos and a video recorded by the dashboard camera in one of the police cars.Video from Lake's body camera shows the officer approaching Sterling, trying to get him to put his hands on the hood of a car, and eventually struggling with him on the ground. During the altercation, another person, presumably Officer Blane Salamoni, screams, "He's got a gun!" and soon thereafter gunshots are heard.When the officers get up, Sterling is lying on the ground outside the front door of the convenience store with a blood-soaked red shirt.The gun is not visible in the video but Lake tells another officer he put it in his car. The officers had been responding to a call about a man with a gun. The call was from a homeless man who said that after he approached Sterling for money, Sterling showed him the weapon.CNN is reviewing the other videos.The two officers had separate disciplinary hearings Thursday night. Paul said Salamoni chose not to answer any questions at his disciplinary hearing. Lake answered every question, the chief said.When asked what he would say to the Sterling family, the police chief said: "They are in our prayers. .... BALTIMORE — The U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops, which is meeting in Baltimore this week, will now face a lawsuit.It's being filed today by six people who have accused Catholic priests of sexual abuse. The group is hoping this lawsuit will prevent bishops from keeping cases of abuse secret. On Wednesday in Baltimore, sexual abuse survivors and their attorneys, along with victims advocates, will announce the details of the lawsuit. The suit names the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for hiding the known histories and identities of the accused clergy members from the public, parishioners and law enforcement.They're demanding the release of files that would help them prove their allegations that some bishops were complicit in covering up the abuse and protecting priests. They also want a full disclosure of all of the known offenders from the nearly 200 dioceses across the country.Six survivors from California, Illinois, Minnesota, New York and Pennsylvania will talk Wednesday about why they filed the suit together and why they're doing it now. Later Wednesday afternoon, Loyola University Maryland will also hold a public forum to talk about the sex abuse crisis in the Catholic Church. 1254
