SANTEE, Calif. (KGTV) – Two teenaged girls had a frightening encounter with a stranger the parking lot Sportsplex USA Santee Thursday night.“He’s lucky I didn't walk out to minutes earlier,” Beau Branton said. His 14-year-old daughter was one of the girls involved.Branton plays in an adult softball league. Their game finished around 11 p.m. His daughter and her 13-year-old friend were there. After the game, they went to the pickup truck to get warm, while Branton finished up on the field.That’s when a man came over to the teens sitting in the car.“They saw him coming over and when they saw him coming over, they freaked out and locked it," Branton said. "He started yanking on the handle to get in.  When he realized he couldn't get in, he just stood there and didn't say anything, just a blank stare.”After a few seconds, the man seemed to give up and leave.“(My daughter) got out to come get me,” Branton said. “She came out from the truck, and towards the Sportsplex, that’s when (the stranger) came from behind a car and started chasing her.”His daughter got back into the truck in time to watch the man drive away.“He had a hoodie on, backpack,” he said, “cleanly shaven, he had two shaven notches on his eyebrows.  They watched him get into a red minivan and drive away.”San Diego Sheriff's Department said the suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early 30s, about 5-feet 9-inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds. He reportedly has short brown hair.He also had two shaved lines through his right eyebrow.The suspect reportedly fled in an early 2000's model, dark, red minivan with faded paint and a sticker on the back window.Deputies are working with the girls to create a sketch of the suspect and are asking any other witnesses to come forward.Lt. Chris Steffen says they are not yet sure of the man's intentions and that he might not have known the girls were in the car. SARASOTA, Fla. — The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office arrested 21 people during an Operation Intercept V, an initiative to protect Sarasota County children from online predators. The suspects, ranging in age from 22 to 58, responded to internet-based ads, online apps or social media sites and engaged in sexually explicit written and verbal conversations, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.One of the suspects promised to stay with a 14-year-old child if he impregnated her while another agreed to have sex with who he believed was a 12-year-old. More than four of the men brought condoms and some offered to bring drugs. Several suspects sent explicit photos. They all traveled with the intent to have sex with a male or female child, according to deputies. “You would think the frequency of Internet predator operations here in Sarasota County and surrounding jurisdictions would reduce the number of criminals prowling online for the sole purpose of sexually exploiting children,” Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight said. “Unfortunately, for some reason, they still think it’s OK to disrupt our community and the children within it. Let this be a reminder for parents to stay cognizant of what their children are doing in this new age of technology. Remember to be a parent. It’s OK to ask questions.”The six-day operation resulted in 21 arrests.  1395

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. — Police in Seaside Heights had their hands full Monday night, doing crowd control to break up hundreds of young people partying at the infamous "Jersey Shore" house.The large gathering at the famous MTV reality show property was hosted by popular YouTube stars the Nelk Boys, NJ.com reported.The Nelk Boys are a trio known for pulling extreme pranks and stunts for their videos.Clips from the YouTubers' Instagram account – which boasts more than 3 million followers – showed throngs of fans cheering and crowding Monday afternoon outside the Jersey Shore house reportedly rented by the trio.Police and security are seen trying to keep the crowd at bay, with most young people seen in the videos not wearing masks.Video posted to Twitter by user @PastryChefTracy shows hundreds of people streaming out of the property as police surrounded the area Monday night. 892
