(KGTV) – A powerful tribute to late actor Chadwick Boseman was unveiled this week at Downtown Disney in Anaheim.The mural shows Boseman exchanging the “Wakanda Forever” salute with a child wearing a Black Panther mask.Nikkolas Smith, a former Disney Imagineer who was on the set of the Black Panther film, created the new art installation called “King Chad.”The actor silently battled colon cancer for years, even while filming some of his major movies. He also visited children who were also fighting cancer.Boseman passed away on Aug. 28 at the age of 43.Smith said in a statement, “As a former Disney Imagineer, I had the honor of working on a major children's hospital initiative and Avengers Campus as my final two assignments. Seeing Chadwick's heart for people in-person, and later discovering his courageous battle with cancer, I was inspired to create this tribute to honor his life and legacy ... (KGTV) - A fire broke out Friday at a home in the Talmadge area.Sky10 was above the home in the 4600 block of 50th at Madison Ave. about 4:30 p.m.Firefighters found flames and smoke at the home when they arrived.The home was vacant when the fire broke out. No roads were closed in the area.San Diego Fire-Rescue teams did not immediately release what caused the fire.Crews requested an arson investigator and SDG&E assistance at the scene.   483

(KGTV) - Authorities in Northern California have issued an arrest warrant for a former Southwestern College football player after he failed to appear in court in a sexual assault case.The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office said 25-year-old Raul Sierra failed to show up for two hearings, including one on March 7.The former Southwestern College and Humboldt State University student-athlete was arrested in 2016 for a sexual assault that officials say occurred in a campus residence hall at HSU in 2015.Sierra was charged originally with acquaintance rape “by use of drugs” in 2016 after taking a plea bargain. However, subsequent court records show that Sierra pleaded no contest to lesser charges of felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor assault in 2016.Court records show that Sierra is supposed to serve community service and undergo counseling through a court program.Sierra attended Castle Park High school before playing at Southwestern College and walking-on at Humboldt State University. 1031

(KGTV) -- Cal Fire and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department are responding to reports of a hiker bit by a rattlesnake in East County Tuesday afternoon.According to Cal Fire, the incident happened on the Pine Hills Wilderness Trail.The agency says the hiker was reportedly bitten by a rattlesnake and is being transported to the hospital for evaluation via ground ambulance.The condition of the hiker is unknown at this time. 437
