Crocs leaders did not give information on how it will continue producing its products during its second-quarter earnings report this week.The company grew its second-quarter earnings and revenue by 4.7 percent year-over-year. NEW YORK (AP) — Dunkin' doughnuts and coffee is being combined with Buffalo Wild Wings and Arby's sandwiches.Inspire Brands Inc. said Friday that it is acquiring Dunkin' Brands Group Inc. for .3 billion, including the Dunkin' Brands' debt that Inspire will be taking on.The private-equity firm will pay 6.50 in cash for all of Dunkin' Brands' shares, which closed Friday at .71.Dunkin' Brands' stock surged to an all-time high earlier this week after the company confirmed the two were in merger talks.Dunkin', based in Canton, Massachusetts, also owns the Baskin-Robbins ice cream chain."Dunkin' and Baskin-Robbins are category leaders with more than 70 years of rich heritage, and together they are two of the most iconic restaurant brands in the world," Paul Brown, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Brands, said in the news release.There are 12,500 Dunkin' stores and 8,000 Baskin-Robbins outlets worldwide.Inspire will operate Dunkin' and Baskin-Robbins as distinct brands, the company stated.According to the New York Times, this is the largest restaurant acquisition in more than a decade. 1129

New charges were filed late Friday against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort in the special counsel investigation.Prosecutors allege that Manafort, with the assistance of longtime business partner Rick Gates, "secretly retained a group of former senior European politicians to take positions favorable to Ukraine, including by lobbying in the United States."The new indictment came less than two hours after Gates pleaded guilty to two criminal charges in federal court and pledged to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of Russia and the 2016 presidential election.Prosecutors say Manafort orchestrated a group of former European politicians, called the "Hapsburg group," to pose as independent voices. Yet they covertly pushed positions favorable to Ukraine as paid lobbyists. The app is free for all, and parents and teachers say it is a good supplement for students of all ages who are learning from home this fall.Averill, 10, is quite the Duolingo master. Her Spanish teacher recommended the app to pair with her in class lessons a few years back. Averill took that one step further.She's currently learning Korean. When she masters that, it will be her third language."My dad is Korean, and so my grandparents speak Korean," Averill said. "I'm trying to learn it because we're planning a trip to Korea to visit some relatives and I'm trying to learn it so I can speak to them a little bet,ter than I can right now."She likes to take what she's learned and practice on her grandparents. So far, she says, she's doing pretty well.Korean and Spanish are two of the 39 featured languages on Duolingo.
