Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke repeated his call for Congress to begin impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump in a CNN town hall Tuesday night in Iowa. The former congressman from Texas said impeachment is "not something that I take lightly.""It is an incredibly serious, sober decision to make as a country," he said.O'Rourke has previously called for Trump's impeachment. He said Tuesday that Democrats should not worry -- as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said -- that doing so could energize Trump's base ahead of the 2020 election. He cited Attorney General William Barr's decision to skip a House hearing and the White House's refusal to comply with congressional subpoenas. He said Democrats should "look past those short-term consequences" and focus on obtaining documents and evidence. The only way to do so, he said is to "compel the testimony, the furnishing of those documents, through impeachment proceedings."At stake, O'Rourke said, are the "very sanctity of the ballot box and the very future of the world's greatest democracy.""If we do nothing because we are afraid of the polls or the politics, or the repercussions in the next election, we will set a precedent that, in fact, some people, because of the position of power and public trust that they hold, are above the law," he said. 1345

Dangalabba, a nearly 14-foot Estuarine Crocodile, has now made its home at the Perth Zoo in Australia after being rescued after officials feared for the crocodile's safety. Dangalabba was rescued from a crocodile farm in Broome, Australia, which is clear 1,400 miles from Perth. Dangalabba then made the journey to the Perth Zoo in a climate-controlled truck. "Dangalabba’s move to Perth was no small feat," the Zoo said. "It was planned to precision and involved a climate-controlled truck to keep the crocodile as happy and comfortable as possible, whilst a roster of truck drivers drove continuously so we could complete the 2000km+ journey quickly and safely."On Thursday, Dangalabba jumped into his pool, which is kept at 80 degrees. The Perth Zoo said that the the Estuarine Crocodile was hunted intensely and was listed as a threatened species. It has since been removed from the threatened species list in Australia. 937

The report details a hazing incident that occurred March 16 at the Delta Tau Delta fraternity house, the report said. The student who filed the report said he and other pledges were told they could not leave a mandatory meeting in the fraternity house, even when they requested to leave. The report said the student was hit "15 times on the buttocks," which caused cuts and bruises. People also spit in his face and kicked him, according to the report. Mental abuse is also noted in the report. The student said he and the other pledges were "blindfolded" and put in a room for about an hour-and-a-half and forced to listen to "scary music." Exposure to loud music for an extended period of time has been characterized by the 1006
