SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The former Navy sailor accused of killing four people by driving his truck off the Coronado Bridge and onto a crowd attended a motions hearing Friday.Richard Sepolio faces four counts of gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI. His defense team argued to throw out the DUI charge, as well as crucial evidence, including initial conversations between Sepolio and his arresting officers. The judge concluded that both issues would be allowed in the upcoming trial.The nephew of two of the victims wants answers. He believed Sepolio was attempting to fake the test by only pretending to breathe small amounts of air into the device. Officer Jimenez remembered that Sepolio’s speech was indeed slurred and that he was complaining of back pain. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Students said they've seen a steady decline at San Diego State University tailgates over the past three years.At their Homecoming tailgate Saturday some students were nervous to celebrate after learning a Freshman was gravely injured after a night of drinking."We definitely want to respect the family and respect the kid, and everyone who has been impacted by this because obviously this is something super severe," SDSU Senior Emma Marchant said.The parking lot was dotted with tailgaters, consisting mostly of alumni, a vast difference compared to the throngs of partiers in September 2018's home opener."Freshman year this whole area would just be covered with people and now it's kinda just us," Marchant said."Mainly undergraduates haven't been here," UCSD Alumna Teigan MacDonald said. Researchers estimate Americans will spend more than 0 billion in retail this year, which means they need to staff seasonal workers ahead of the shopping rush. Macy’s announced they are looking for 80,000 seasonal workers. The Gap Company will hire 65,000 people. Target plans to add 120,000 seasonal team members this year, up 20% from last year. In San Diego County alone, Target plans to add 1,200 people to their staff this season. “I’m going full time at SDSU, and I knew that I was definitely looking for some work,” Elizabeth Gonzalez said. 10News Gonzalez at the Mission Valley Target’s hiring fair Saturday morning.
