Gab has been taken offline following revelations that the suspected Pittsburgh synagogue gunman used the social network to threaten Jews.A statement on the platform's website Monday said it would be "inaccessible for a period of time" after several web hosting services declined its business.Gab said it has also been removed from app stores and refused service by payment processing firms."Gab.com is under attack," the company said in the statement. Heather Locklear was taken to jail after deputies responded to her home Sunday night on a report of domestic violence, and she allegedly attacked a responding police officer.TMZ reports Locklear?became combative toward the officer at her home in Thousand Oaks, California. She was arrested on three counts of misdemeanor battery for the attack.Locklear, known for her roles in "Franklin and Bash," "Melrose Place" and several other TV shows and films, is 56 years old.In years past, she has been arrested on DUI charges. She's had struggles with drug abuse, TMZ says.It is not clear who was in her home when the domestic violence call was made to police. Here's a heartwarming story on a cold winter day.On Thursday afternoon, the Norton Fire Division in Northeast Ohio received a call regarding a dog that had fallen through a layer of ice and into a pond. Within minutes of receiving the call, crews arrived on the scene and jumped into action, Norton Fire Chief Mike Schultz said. "We had no idea what we were getting into until we showed up," Shultz said.Norton firefighters came prepared. As soon as their truck's wheels stopped rolling, firefighter Dwayne Marty jumped in the water after the dog. On the way over, Marty had donned a Mustang Suit, a specially designed jumpsuit for cold water ice rescue. The suit allows a firefighter to crawl over ice with special spikes embedded on it. "Anytime you get into a cold water situation, it can become deadly pretty fast," Schultz said.Marty was able to reach the dog just in time.Assistant Chief Mike Copen and firefighters Josh Lepley, Marcus Council, Brandon Earnsberger and Elliot Dunaye helped pull Marty and the dog back to land with a rope."It's a feel-good story. There is so much ugly stuff we do and see," Marty said. The store was closed due to the protests occurring outside the University Mall.People wielding blunt objects, like hammers, broke the glass entrance doors and stormed into the store.After reviewing surveillance video, detectives believe about 200 people entered the store and most began looting the electronics section. An estimated 6,000 in merchandise and damages was reported."Not only is this violence completely unacceptable, it was disrespectful to the protesters who were out there that night trying to express their message in an impactful way," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. But if you're expecting howling, swooshes and crackles, you're in for a surprise. These are vibrations, captured by NASA's InSight lander, which touched down on the Red Planet just last week. The craft will stay put until November 24, 2020, measuring quakes that happen anywhere on Mars.This week, the craft recorded something unexpected."InSight sensors captured a haunting low rumble caused by vibrations from the wind, estimated to be blowing between 10 to 25 mph (5 to 7 meters a second) on Dec. 1, from northwest to southeast," the agency said.An air pressure sensor and a seismometer recorded the noise through the vibrations in the air and vibrations around the aircraft "caused by the wind moving over the spacecraft's solar panels."This is the only time when vibrations from the lander will be recorded by the seismometer, since it will be moved by the craft's robotic armed and placed on the Martian surface, along with other instruments.The craft's landing comes as part of NASA's mission to explore the planet's deep interior.InSight lander's sensors are designed to detect quakes and air pressure through wind vibrations. The lander will measure whether tremors have the same effect as earthquakes. The Seismic Experiment for Interior Structure (SEIS), the seismometer, will use the vibrations to help scientists configure more about the planet's interior."Capturing this audio was an unplanned treat.
