Several soon-to-be-married Valley couples say they're worried they've lost the thousands of dollars they invested on their wedding venue.NOAH's Event Center in Chandler, Arizona, sent an email to couples who booked the venue off Cooper and the Loop 202 saying they were canceling their highly anticipated events. “I had to re-read it again honestly. I was like, 'What? Is this real?'" said Melanie Stephenson, whose wedding was set for March of 2020. “I just mailed out my invites in November, so I had to re-message everyone like, 'Sorry wedding is postponed until I don’t even know when.'"Stephenson says she paid off the cost of the venue last December forking over ,000 to rent the entire building for the night and for NOAH to provide bartenders for her big day.“It just really sucks," she added. "This is like a hit in the face pretty much for all of us." Stephenson says NOAH's story doesn't add up. “I made sure to choose a company that I thought was solid because they have 30 other buildings throughout the United States," she said. Court records show NOAH 1082

Sen. Elizabeth Warren kicked the 2020 White House race into high gear on New Year's Eve when she announced the formation of a presidential exploratory committee. The announcement made clear that Warren is in the race for the Democratic nomination, but by forming an exploratory committee, she is technically still one step short of officially becoming a presidential candidate. An exploratory committee is a vehicle by which candidates for federal office can "test the waters" of a bid before officially entering a race. It's a mostly technical distinction that allows candidates to form a committee and begin raising and spending money on limited campaign activities like polling and outreach. And exploratory committees aren't initially required to file reports with the Federal Election Commission, at least until a candidate's bid becomes official by FEC standards. That happens, 892
Talks between US President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un were cut short Thursday as a closely watched nuclear summit ended without a joint agreement signing. The White House said no deal was struck between the two leaders."No agreement was reached at this time, but their respective teams look forward to meeting in the future," press secretary Sarah Sanders wrote in a statement. The two leaders departed the Metropole Hotel, where the talks unfolded, around 1:30 p.m. local time, roughly four-and-a-half hours after the talks began. They left without participating in a working lunch and joint agreement signing ceremony that had been originally listed on the schedule.Aside from the signing ceremony, a planned lunch between the two leaders did not go forward. Instead, the White House said Trump would convene a news conference two hours earlier than planned.US and North Korean negotiators had been in Hanoi drafting language of a joint agreement ahead of the talks. Stephen Biegun, the President's North Korea envoy, arrived days before Trump to seal the document.Earlier in the day, Trump tamped down expectations he will make significant progress with Kim 1194
