JOSEPH, Mo. — The St. Joseph Police Department (SJPD) is investigating after a woman found a bomb on her front porch.Alexis Washington was up late with her newborn daughter and young son when she heard a loud pop and saw a flash of red light. When she came outside to check it out, she found the bomb on her porch."The cop told me then that the propane tank was leaking, there was ammunition on top of it with a paper towel that was lit on fire," Washington said. "A bomb? I just don't understand, like a bomb? You can't fight that. That's why it's just like you've got to go. I got to go."SJPD Cpt. Jeff Wilson said the bomb was definitely homemade. Spotify confirmed to Billboard Thursday that it will no longer promote R. Kelly's music on its editorial and algorithm-based playlists due to sexual misconduct allegations against the singer.In a statement to Billboard, the streaming service said it would no longer actively promote the singer's music under a new "Hateful Conduct" policy."We don’t censor content because of an artist’s or creator’s behavior, but we want our editorial decisions -- what we choose to program -- to reflect our values. When an artist or creator does something that is especially harmful or hateful, it may affect the ways we work with or support that artist or creator," Spotify's policy states.Spotify users can still access Kelly's music by going directly to his page, and users can still add his music to playlists they curate themselves.Kelly has been accused of sexual assault and statutory rape multiple times over the past 20 years. In 2001, a sex tape emerged that prosecutors alleged featured Kelly and an underaged girl. Kelly was found not guilty on 14 counts of child pornography in 2008 in connection with the tape.A number of women came told BuzzFeed in 2017 that Kelly was "brainwashing" victims into joining a sex "cult." PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Medical Examiner of Pinellas County, Florida has confirmed that a vape pen explosion is to blame for a St. Petersburg man's death. Bill Pellan, Director of Investigations at the Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the report to Scripps station WFTS in Tampa on Tuesday. Tallmadge Wakeman D'Elia, 38, who went by "Wake," died in a fire in an upstairs bedroom of a home.  441

SPRING VALLEY (KGTV) -- Some neighbors in Spring Valley want the county to do more to address the large cluster of homeless tents at Lamar Park. Residents say the park’s homeless population has skyrocketed in recent months. At least two dozen tents lined Bancroft Drive outside the park gates Tuesday morning.“Our heart goes out to the homeless people, but when there’s drugs going on, people finding needles, the dogs are running loose, you can’t even bring your kids over to enjoy the park,” said neighbor Joe Fearce.RELATED: Del Mar neighbors aid woman living in car with 300 pet ratsThe county has posted signs saying it will clear the park January 13 for a major cleaning, but Fearce and other residents say that tactic has failed before.“They came in two or three Tuesdays ago. They cleaned everything out. By 3 o’clock, [the homeless people] were all back and then some,” Fearce said. “They know they can’t be arrested if there’s nowhere for them to go.”Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court solidified a lower court’s ruling that protects the rights of homeless people to camp in parks or on sidewalks if there is no other shelter available.
