More than two dozen people have been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents as they are investigating suspected human smuggling activity at a Phoenix home.Video taken on Tuesday around 6 p.m. showed several people handcuffed and leaning against a garage door of a residence.The 30-plus individuals have been detained on immigration administrative charges in conjunction with the investigation, ICE said in a statement. No further information was immediately available.   514

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (KGTV) - People who live next to the 8th hole at the National City Golf Course are fed up with damage from errant tee shots."It's a huge problem," says Karen Hovik. She says golf balls have broken three windshields on her car and left countless dents and scratches."I watch people, and they try to swing like Happy Gilmore while they're filming it," she says, noting that golfers take aggressive swings and don't seem to care where their ball lands.A chain link fence lines the property between the golf course and the condo complex. Hovik and her neighbors want the city or the course management company to put up tall nets, similar to the ones near the driving range."It's not just property damage," says Hovik. "Somebody could get really hurt and injured by that." Hovik says she's been hit by golf balls several times while walking near her home.A representative from the golf course told 10News they take the issue very seriously, and they've posted signs along the course telling the golfers they are responsible for any damage done by bad shots. They also say they plan a full safety review of the course this year, and that's one issue that will be addressed.Representatives from the National City Parks and Recreation Department have not returned our calls for comment. 1308

MSAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Mayor Kevin Faulconer announced Monday that the city has repaired 655 miles of roads so far, which is ahead of schedule to meet the goal of 1,000 miles of roads by 2020.Averaging more than 300 miles per year puts the city ahead of schedule, even as a small percentage of repairs has required taking the roads down to the dirt.RELATED: San Diego County approves million road resurfacing project“The unprecedented investment we’ve made in road repair is showing results with more smooth streets in our neighborhoods,” Mayor Faulconer said. “There’s still a lot more work that needs to be done, but we’re making significant progress on an issue that is a top concern for so many residents.”Within the first two fiscal years of the pledge, the city fixed 595 miles of roads. Museums from coast to coast will have free admission on Saturday as part of Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day Live. Art museums, science centers and other attractions are participating in Saturday's event, which was created to promote STEM programs. In order to take advantage of free admission at museums, tickets are available on Smithsonian Magazine's webpage. Tickets are limited to one person plus a guest per email address. Once you enter your name, email address and select the museum you wish to attend, your ticket will appear on the next screen and be emailed to you. NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (KGTV) -- An investigation is underway to find the driver in a hit-and-run crash that critically injured a skateboarder.National City police say the man was skateboarding with friends on Palm avenue around 12:30 a.m. when a vehicle traveling northbound hit him.The vehicle fled the scene, leaving the victim on the street when officers arrived. Paramedics rushed him to UC San Diego Medical Center with serious head injury, according to police.Witnesses tell police the driver was a woman.
