OKALOOSA ISLAND, Fla. — A car rolled into a Florida swimming pool on Tuesday with a father and daughter inside.According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, the mother thought she put the car in park when she ran back into the apartment to grab money."Apparently, it didn't go all the way into park," OCSO said.Her husband and daughter were in the car when it went into the pool at their Okaloosa Island apartment. OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) — Police Saturday released a sketch of man who they say grabbed a 16-year-old in a "bear hug" and tried to kidnap her on her way to school.The teenager was walking to El Camino High School on Thursday just before 7:30 a.m. when the suspect walked past her on Mesa Drive, Oceanside Police say. As the two crossed paths, the suspect turned around and grabbed her in a "bear hug." During the struggle, the suspect fell to the ground and the teen was able to escape and make it to school, where she told campus security about the incident.RELATED: Man tries to grab 16-year-old girl walking to school in OceansideOceanside Police searched the surrounding area with a drone, but didn't find the suspect.The suspect was described as a Caucasian male, in his 50s, standing about 5-foot-9, and weighing 150 pounds, and with a bald head and light brown hair on both sides.Police added he's very thin and may be homeless. He also has a scab on the right side of his neck. The suspect was last seen wearing a tan pullover sweatshirt and black baggy, dirty jeans. Oklahoma legislators approved a measure including a ,100 pay raise for teachers, but the state teacher's union says the bill doesn't go far enough and plans to walk out Monday.House Bill 1010XX, which was described as "the largest teacher pay raise in the history of the state" passed both the state House and Senate this week. Gov. Mary Fallin signed the bill on Thursday."This is a very historic moment in Oklahoma's time," Fallin said of funding measures that included the pay boost. "It was not easy getting here."For weeks, Oklahoma teachers have been considering a walkout over what they say is their breaking point over pay and education funding. The state ranks 49th in the nation in teacher salaries, according to the National Education Association, in a list that includes Washington, D.C. Mississippi and South Dakota rank lower.Inspired by the West Virginia strike in which teachers demanded and got a pay raise from state leaders earlier this month, similar efforts have taken off in Oklahoma and Arizona.The Oklahoma Education Association, the state's largest teachers' union that represents nearly 40,000 members and school personnel, called the passage of the bill "a truly historic moment," but one that remains "incomplete," according to its president, Alicia Priest.Teachers and school staff will walk off their jobs on Monday and descend on the state Capitol, she said in video comments posted on Facebook.Oklahoma City Public Schools said all classes and activities are canceled for that day because of the walkout."While this is major progress, this investment alone will not undo a decade of neglect," Priest said. "Lawmakers have left funding on the table that could be used immediately to help Oklahoma students.""This package doesn't overcome shortfall caused by four-day weeks, overcrowded classrooms that deprive kids of the one-on-one attention they need. It's not enough," Priest said. On Aug. 26, 2017, 15-year-old Damon Grimes was involved in a police pursuit while driving an ATV in Detroit. That pursuit ended in a crash that claimed Grimes’ life.Reporters at Scripps station WXYZ in Detroit requested video from the crash under the Freedom of Information Act, and received 25 hours worth of video from police body cameras and dash cameras, surveillance video and cell phone video shot by witnesses that tell the story of the senseless death.Officials did not provide footage from the dash cam of the pursuit by Michigan State Troopers, Mark Bessner and Ethan Berger.At 5:31 p.m., video shows Damon Grimes riding his ATV down Rossini Avenue and Gratiot in Detroit. At that time, Trooper Mark Bessner requested priority to chase an ATV.“He flipped. Flipped!” Detroit Police Officer Williams said, video shows.“Yup, tell them there’s an accident,” said DPD Officer Boersman, who was first on the scene.Grimes had hit a parked Ford F-150 with his ATV and he flew off the four-wheeler.“0-9, he’s slowed down, we tased him and he crashed out. Have EMS step it up,” Bessner said.As Detroit Police Officer Kimberly Buckner heads to the scene in her squad car, radio chatter from MSP can be heard on the radio. “If you could just maybe have a unit or two make it there for moral support, sounds like it could be a pretty bad one.”“They never said what they were chasing him for just came over there and said MSP’s in a chase," Officer Addison said.“Don’t run from the State Police, you get ****ed up,” another officer said.Also on video, troopers can be seen attempting CPR on Grimes.“They tased his a** while he was cruising,” said an officer who walked up to Buckner as he covers her body cam.Buckner then shuts off her camera.As the ambulance arrives around 5:37 p.m., the stretcher is wheeled up to Grime’s body while another officer shuts off his body camera.At this point, Stephenson turns on her body cam.“Should we give them like an escort or something?” she asks Wade. “Should we give them an escort to St. Johns?”“For him? Hell no!” Wade said. “They got lights and sirens. We only do that for police. If an officer gets shot we’ll do that.”“I didn’t know they were chasing a four-wheeler,” said Stephenson.Damon Grimes was pronounced dead on arrival at St. John’s Hospital.Due to his insensitive comments, Detroit Police Officer Aubrey Wade was reassigned.Trooper Mark Bessner, the passenger in the MSP vehicle in pursuit, is accused of breaking protocol and taser use. He is awaiting an August murder trial. He resigned from Michigan State Police.The Grimes family has filed a million civil suit against Bessner. (KGTV) — A piece of cinema history located in North San Diego County will soon have a new home.The historic Graves House featured in the 1986 action flick "Top Gun" is being relocated and restored to make room for the Oceanside Beach Resort coming to the property.It's the first time the popular beach cottage rental, which was built about 137 years ago, will be moved.RELATED: Oceanside beach resort closer to construction after decade of delaysNot only is the home significant because it served as "Charlie's" home in the film, but it's a rare folk Victorian home, featuring architecture rarely seen nowadays.The home isn't moving far. It's already been relocated one block away for structural restoration. Afterward, it will be moved to the north side of the property on Pacific Street.
