According to San Diego Gas and Electric, nearly 24,000 people, mainly in East County, are at risk of having their power shut off. Residents in Alpine say they’re gearing up for possible outages. Employees at the Alpine Beer Company told 10News when the power goes down, their protocol is to close the bar, but keep their stock nice and cool. According to police, the woman entered the bank on the 9200 block of Miramar Road just before 6 p.m. Thursday. Police say the woman demanded money from the teller, who handed the suspect an unknown amount of cash. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man who went missing early in the day Wednesday. According to police, 77-year-old David McArthur left his home on the 7900 block of Wing Span Drive around 10 a.m. to work on his boat at The Southwestern Yacht Club. He was last seen walking toward his vehicle in the parking lot of the yacht club, according to a family friend. McArthur was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s six years ago. McArthur is described as a white man, 77-years-old who is bald with grey hair on the sides and a thin build. Police say he also wears a yellow metal wedding ring and black band digital watch on his left wrist. McArthur is from New Zealand and speaks with a slight accent. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police investigated in Little Italy Saturday the suspicious death of a woman who appeared to be homeless.Officers received a 911 call at 3:42 a.m. reporting a body found at West Hawthorn and State streets, just west of Interstate 5.The woman appeared to have traumatic injuries but investigators could not immediately determine the source of them.The victim, who has not been identified, was in her 40's or 50's.Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (619) 531-2293 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477. 586
