(KGTV) — A Los Angeles-area police pursuit ended late Tuesday with a suspect breakdancing as officers held him a gunpoint before being arrested.The chase took California Highway Patrol officers through the San Fernando Valley after the suspect failed to yield to commands to stop, according to ABC-affiliate KABC.Officers pursued the suspect over the 101 Freeway, north on the 405 Freeway, and then east onto the 118 Freeway.As the driver slowed in the Pacoima area, officers were able to enact a PIT maneuver and spin the suspect's vehicle out.The driver exited the vehicle and began walking backward toward CHP officers. But before turning himself over, he stopped and began breakdancing in the street, as officers kept their firearms trained on the man.After a short dance, the man surrendered to police without incident. 832

Gavin Newsom has admitted that he should not have attended a birthday dinner with a dozen people, as critics slammed the move as hypocritical.Newsom attended an outdoor dinner at The French Laundry in Napa County on Nov. 6, according to the Associated Press. The party, which included 12 people including Newsom and his wife, was held to celebrate the 50th birthday of the governor's political adviser Jason Kinney.In a statement to The San Francisco Chronicle, which first reported on the party, Newsom said he should have set a better example as many Californians battle virus-fatigue amid an increase in coronavirus cases.California prohibits indoor or outdoor gatherings of more than three households as part of its COVID-19 guidance.Monday, Gov. (KGTV) — Clark County officials have identified the passenger of a plane that crashed in the Las Vegas area shortly after takeoff to San Diego.The county's Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner says 35-year-old Tyrone Cabalar was killed in the crash on Oct. 29, according to KTNV, ABC 10News' Scripps sister station in Las Vegas. Cabalar was one of two people aboard the twin-engine 1974 Cessna 310R when it went down minutes after taking off from North Las Vegas Airport.The pilot of the plane, which was heading to Gillespie Field in San Diego, has not been identified.RELATED: FAA: Small plane heading to San Diego crashes in Las VegasOn Oct. 29 the plane crashed at about 9:30 a.m. near Raven Avenue and Hinson Street, several miles southwest of the Las Vegas Strip.
