China paid the remaining balance of its contributions to the UN regular budget for the year 2020 on Monday, according to a statement by the Permanent Mission of China to the UN.
China said earlier that it was considering a pre-commercial launch of 5G this year, followed by large-scale commercialization in 2020. Miao Wei, minister of industry and information technology, had confirmed at the Boao Forum for Asia, that China will grant 5G licenses this year, but didn't disclose a specific date.
China on Thursday said it opposes outside interference in Venezuela's internal affairs, calling upon all parties in the country to seek a political solution through peaceful dialogue within the nation's constitutional framework.
China will continue to boost its exchanges and cooperation with Venezuela in various fields under such principles, she said.
China raised the deduction baseline for personal income tax from 3,500 yuan to 5,000 yuan per month on Oct 1, and six categories of special deduction items, including children's education, continuing education, healthcare treatment for serious diseases, mortgage interest and rent, and senior care, took effect on Jan 1 this year, according to the Personal Income Tax Law amended on Aug 31.
