NASHVILLE, Mich. - A family with a passion with aviation decided to take their hobby on the road.Gino Lucci of Nashville, Mich. is a pilot, mechanic, and federal inspector of aviation. His passion prompted an idea when he was a kid."I always wanted to do one, since I was 12-years-old, and I just wanted to make an airplane out of a motor home," said Lucci. "The truck won't fly, but the airplane drives."Lucci named the RV The Fabulous Flamingo. To make his plans a reality, Lucci's son Giacinto tracked down a plane in Missouri. It had been deemed inoperable due to a tornado that rolled through the area. The plane was built in 1943 and used in South America by the Navy during the World War II era."It took us about four to six weeks to really sit down and say, 'Alright, I’ll sell it to you," Giacinto recalled. The family gutted the airplane but tried to keep as much of the original interior as possible. Some of the parts they removed were sent to France to restore a similar plane for a D-Day memorial. The RV is classified as a Class A motor home and is up to safety standards. Local parts were also provided by Frontier Truck Parts in Dorr. This story was first reported by Angeline McCall at WXMI in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 1239

More than a decade before the #MeToo movement, Arnold Schwarzenegger was accused by multiple women of groping and humiliating them. The year was 2003 and the "Terminator" star was running for governor of California. He denied the allegations at the time?and his campaign chalked it up to an escalating political attack against him.Schwarzenegger now says "Looking back, I stepped over the line several times, and I was the first one to say sorry.""I feel bad about it, and I apologize. When I became governor, I wanted to make sure that no one, including me, ever makes this mistake," he recently told Men's Health.?"That's why we took sexual-harassment courses, to have a clear understanding, from a legal point of view and also from a regular behavior point of view, of what is accepted and what is not."Last year, allegations of sexual misconduct against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein kicked off an international conversation about the treatment of women and led to the downfall of several powerful men across several industries. The allegations against Weinstein range from harassment to rape, include the stories of more than 80 women and span several decades. Through a spokesperson, Weinstein has repeatedly denied "any allegations of nonconsensual sex; he has pleaded not guilty to six sex crime charges in New York, including two counts of rape.On Thursday, a New York judge dismissed one of the counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree against Weinstein.Schwarzenegger, who left the governor's office in 2011, was not criminally charged in connection with any of the allegations about him.He told Men's Health he has not changed his views on masculinity."I'm a guy," Schwarzenegger said. "I would not change my view of who I am."The actor added "The woman I was originally most in love with was my mother.""I respected her, and she was a fantastic woman," he said. "I always had respect for women."CNN has reached out to Schwarzenegger for additional comment. 1996

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Six Metro Nashville police officers have been commended for their heroic response early Christmas morning when an RV exploded. The officers responded to the call of gunfire and upon hearing an RV play a recorded message saying the vehicle contained a bomb, took several measures to evacuate as many people as possible from Second Avenue.City leaders applauded the officers for their swift action, putting the lives of others ahead of their own. "They immediately began knocking on doors, not knowing when the bomb would go off," Chief John Drake said at a press conference Saturday night. "They didn't think of themselves...they thought of the citizens of Nashville. They saved lives today, and their heroism should be noted."The responding officers were identified as:Officer Brenna HoseyOfficer Tyler LuellenOfficer Michael SiposOfficer Amanda ToppingOfficer James WellsSergeant Timothy MillerMetro police said the bomb squad was en route to the scene when the vehicle exploded. Officer Luellen arrived at the scene first. He said after five minutes, they heard a timer counting down from the RV. Officers noticed the shades were down on the vehicle but did not notice a tag. He said he didn't immediately notice the RV, but thought it may have been someone visiting town for Christmas. The officers contacted six to seven apartments and asked residents to evacuate. After some time, music began to play from the RV. Once the song finished, the announcement of a bomb continued. Officer Luellen said once the announcement resumed, he saw a man walking a dog. The man was notified of the warning and shortly after the RV exploded. Luellen said he was knocked over and the man was in shock. The second officer who responded to the scene was Brenna Hosey. She said when she heard the announcement coming from the RV she was confused. "Is this really what we're hearing right now," Hosey recalled thinking. She then began clearing apartments on Second Avenue floor-by-floor. They began these evacuation efforts as the RV announced there would be 14 minutes until detonation. Officer James Wells suffered hearing loss from the blast. Wells said once he heard Luellen call over the radio for an immediate response, he knew by the tone of his voice it was serious. Officer Topping said as she was getting to the area of Second Avenue and Commerce Street she began to hear the message playing from the RV. "That's a sound I'll never forget," she said. Sgt. Miller was not present at the press conference because he was traveling out of town on Sunday morning. This story was first published by Caroline Sutton at WTVF in Nashville, Tennessee. 2661

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The NFL has postponed Sunday’s game between the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers to allow for additional time for COVID-19 testing. In a statement released Wednesday, the league said it wants to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel. The NFL said the game will be played on either Monday or Tuesday. The date and time will be announced “as soon as possible.”New from the league pic.twitter.com/RnLcZ9mSPj— Brian McCarthy (@NFLprguy) September 30, 2020 The postponement comes after at least three Titans players and five employees for the team tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Coach Mike Vrabel said some of those who tested positive are experiencing flu-like symptoms, but nothing out of the ordinary.Following the positive tests, the NFL said the Titans would suspend in-person club activities, as would the Minnesota Vikings, who played the Titans on Sunday. The Vikings said in a statement Tuesday that none of their players or personnel members have tested positive for the virus since their game.“Both clubs are working closely with the NFL and NFLPA, including our infectious disease experts, to evaluate close contacts, perform additional testing and monitor developments,” the NFL said. The Titans' outbreak marks the biggest COVID-19 scare the league has experienced to date. Between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, the league conducted 180,274 COVID-19 tests among players and team personnel. Just 30 of those tests have come back positive. This weekend's game was supposed to be the first of the season that Tennessee fans would be allowed inside Nissan Stadium, WTVF reports. 1651
