BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Farm produce prices in 36 large- and medium-sized cities trended slightly upward last week, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Tuesday.
The NMC also forecast increasing rainfalls and snows in east and central China. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Jilin and Heilongjiang are likely to receive heavy snows or blizzards over the coming three days, the NMC added.
Transportation authorities closed the highway, as the winds brought heavy snow and reduced visibility to less than 10 meters.
The vehicle, which was overloaded, caught fire after falling into a ravine at around 10 p.m. on Friday near the county seat of Ningxian.
