BEIJING, March 6 (Xinhua) -- China is aiming to improve public services for its elderly population by 2020, according to a government plan unveiled Monday.
"That means that each of us plays a major role in making that goal achievable. Making every citizen whether in the public or private sector responsible for eradicating poverty," he said.
Joint inspections began in 2006 as an annual event, and were increased to twice a year in 2016.
