Alexandra Canosa, an associate producer on the Netflix series "Marco Polo," has filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court alleging Harvey Weinstein raped, physically assaulted and verbally abused her over the course of five years.Weinstein "constantly threatened" Canosa and "made it clear that if she did not succumb to his demands for sexual contact or if she exposed his unwanted conduct there would be retaliation, including humiliation, the loss of her job and loss of any ability to work in the entertainment business," court documents allege.The lawsuit claims the former film executive insisted on meeting with Canosa in "isolated environments" and demanded sex. After weeks of wrangling, the MLB Players’ Association told MLB that players will be ready to report on July 1 for a second Spring Training.Teams will conduct a 60-game season in home ballparks, MLB said on Tuesday. Most teams will conduct their preseason training in their home cities instead of utilizing Spring Training facilities. The length of the season has been greatly reduced from 162 games after MLB suspended the season in March. The regular season is expected to begin on July 23 or 24. Teams will play the majority of their games versus in-division opponents, with the remaining games being played against interleague teams from the same geographic division. According to new research by the American Heart Association, if you eat chili peppers, you might live longer.Researchers analyzed the health and dietary records of more than 570,000 people in the U.S., Italy, China, and Iran. They found that individuals who eat chili peppers are 26% less likely to die from cardiovascular disease than those who rarely or never eat chili peppers.Another perk researchers found was that they are also 23% less likely to die from cancer and 25% less likely to die from any cause.“We were surprised to find that in these previously published studies, researchers associated regular consumption of chili pepper with an overall risk-reduction of all-cause, CVD, and cancer mortality.
