(CNN) -- Retired NFL fullback Le'Ron McClain took to Twitter Saturday to plead for help dealing with head and brain troubles he said have resulted from playing football.In a series of emotional and expletive-filled tweets, McClain said his brain is tired and he needs to get his "head checked.""Need to tell my story of how my head is crazy and how football did it," McClain wrote. "Please someone help me get this out the @NFL puts paperwork in out (sic) faces and thats it."Reports show an increasing number of retired NFL players who have suffered repetitive hits to the head have developed memory and cognitive issues such as dementia, Alzheimer's, depression and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). (KGTV) - Federal investigators are asking for possible victims of a convicted child predator and retired Vista school district high school teacher to come forward. Tay Cooper, 67, pleaded guilty in 2018 to possessing child pornography. He was sentenced to one year in federal prison and seven years of supervised release. The judge ordered Cooper to pay ,000 in restitution to the four victims identified in the images and videos. Last September, Homeland Security Investigations agents received information from a potential victim who accused Cooper of sexual abuse. Also of concern was that Cooper was a beloved teacher, winning Teacher of the Year two years in a row while in Los Angeles County. It's not clear how much mobile phone users would be asked to pay under the proposal, but it would likely be billed as a flat surcharge, not a per-text fee, according to the paper.And wireless industry and business groups are not "LOLing." The groups are reportedly already trying to defeat the proposal before it makes its way to the commission.“It’s a dumb idea,” Jim Wunderman, president of the Bay Area Council business-sponsored advocacy group, told the Mercury News. “This is how conversations take place in this day and age, and it’s almost like saying there should be a tax on the conversations we have.”The new surcharges could generate a total of about .5 million a year, according to business groups.
