Amazing, up-close video shows a tour guide's GoPro camera becoming engulfed in a Hawaii lava flow.Erik Storm said it happened by accident while he was guiding a tour in Kalapana in August 2016.Storm said he used a rock hammer to extract the camera after the lava began to cool and harden.He thought it had surely been destroyed, but was amazed to see the blue Wi-Fi light still blinking. (KGTV) -- Four off-duty marines along with a rescue team rescued a hiker having a medical emergency on a hiking trail near Los Angeles Sunday.According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a team received the rescue call around 4 p.m. Sunday near Switzer Falls.When the rescue team arrived, they found four off-duty marines from Camp Pendleton who had run into the hiker and carried him upstream for a quicker rescue.Officials say the hiker wasn’t injured and was taken to the hospital to recover.Watch he rescue video in the player below:  581

He was handing out his resume to motorists in Mountain View, California -- where Google is headquartered -- and hoping to make a job connection.Casarez moved to California several months ago, seeking a job in the tech industry.
