A newly married man hasn't had much time to celebrate his marriage as he's been in the hospital with the rare condition acute flaccid myelitis for more than 100 days.Bridget Williquette and Adam Spoerri got married July 21, 2018. They left for their road trip honeymoon a few days later. But on August 5, Adam had to be taken to the emergency room with a respiratory disease that was affecting his breathing.Adam's body became increasingly paralyzed while in the ER, leaving his chest, arms, lungs, throat, facial muscles and neck without feeling. He was admitted to the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit that same day and has since been on life support.Adam and Bridget now communicate through writing on paper, as Adam's hands and wrists were not affected by paralysis as much as other areas of his body.He has been doing daily occupational and physical therapy and has made progress in being able to hold his head up on his own.A GoFundMe page has been set up for Adam and Bridget. A shooter opened fire at a church in the Northern Caucasus region of southern Russia on Sunday, killing five people and wounding two others, authorities said, according to state media.The incident took place at a church in Kizlyar in the restive Russian republic of Dagestan.Police responded, traded fire with the shooter and killed him, the authorities said. A potential tropical storm has its eyes on Puerto Rico this week, prompting the National Hurricane Center to issue a tropical storm warning for the island territory.The unnamed storm has not officially been deemed a tropical storm, but is topping low-end tropical storm winds of 40 MPH. A number of other Caribbean islands, including the US Virgin Islands, are under tropical storm warnings.Because the storm lacks a well-defined center, it is not considered a tropical storm officially. But the National Hurricane Center expects the disturbance it has named “Potential Tropical Cyclone No. 9” to better organize in the next day.After it passes the Caribbean islands, it will begin approaching the East Coast of the US. A Tennessee woman has called her 6-year-old son's daycare facility negligent after he was left alone outside when it closed early in observance of Veterans Day.Megan Talley, of Parrotsville, Tennessee, told WATE-TV that one of her son's school teachers happened to find him alone and crying outside Precious Memories daycare on Friday afternoon."I almost went into a full blown panic attack," Talley told the TV station. 433
