BEIJING, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday said that members of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and provincial and ministerial-level officials are "crucial" to the sound governance of the Party and the country.
The central government fully endorses the work of Chief Executive Chui and the Macao SAR government, he said.
"Cyber space should be a place of peace with ability and prosperity. Without peace, we cannot have sustainable developments and security in cyber space," Long noted.
The Party and the state have been through important changes since the Constitution was last amended in 2004.
Gao explained that the development plan approved by the congress was part of a vision to create a prosperous society where the success of "socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era" could be realized.
