A complaint has been filed against Las Vegas legend Wayne Newton after his pet monkey reportedly "viciously attacked" a girl on his property.A complaint was filed by Jocelyne Urena, who is the mother of Genevieve Urena.The younger Urena was a guest at Newton's house, Casa de Shenandoah, on Oct. 17, 2017.During the visit, she was attacked and bitten by the monkey, she said.The complaint says that Newton knew about the monkey's viciousness and propensity to attack and did not take care to protect his guest. According to the complaint, the girl did nothing to provoke the attack.Urena is seeking more than ,000 in damages. The complaint was filed in Clark County District Court. A man suspected of killing a police officer this week in Newman, California, has been arrested, according to Deputy Blake Edwards with the Kern County Sheriff's Office.The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department announced that Gustavo Perez Arriaga was arrested this morning at a home in Bakersfield, California. Arriaga was arrested and will be transported to Stanislaus County. Arriaga will be charged with homicide.Adrian Virgen and Erik Razo Quiroz were arrested yesterday for allegedly helping Arriaga escape after he allegedly shot and killed Corporal Singh. Virgen and Quiroz were arrested for accessory after the fact to a felony.The 33-year-old police officer, Singh, pulled over a man just before 1 a.m. Wednesday and a few moments later called out "shot fired" over the radio.Singh was found shot by other officers and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.The Stanislaus County Sheriff said Singh was conducting a traffic stop for a suspicion of driving under the influence when the shooting occurred.Singh was a native of Fiji and joined the force in July 2011. 1110

A 14-year-old girl was killed and four others injured when falling rocks hit their car at the Glacier National Park in Montana.The rocks hit the top of the car Monday night and shattered the rear windshield. In addition to killing the girl, rocks also injured her parents and two other children in the vehicle, the park said in a statement.It estimated the rocks were between fist-sized and 12 inches in diameter along with enough debris from the rockfall to fill the bed of a pickup truck. The incident happened near the East Tunnel on the popular and mountainous Going-to-the-Sun Road.An ambulance that responded could not airlift the girl because of her unstable condition, the park said.Flight paramedics traveled with her using ground ambulance to Kalispell, Montana. She died while being transported to a local hospital, the park said."The two adults suffered significant bruises and were transported to area hospitals. The two other children in the vehicle had minor injuries and also went by ambulance to the hospital," the park said.The victims were visiting from Utah, and authorities will release their names once family notifications are complete.
