BEIJING, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Top Chinese prosecutor Cao Jianming has called for correction of misconduct plaguing the country's procuratorate including a lack of respect for lawyers' rights.

As two large developing countries, China and India pursue an independent foreign policy of peace, and both countries attach priority to developing relations with their neighbouring countries, Wang said, noting that China cherishes the strategic and cooperative partnership with India.

The government work report highlights strategies such as the Belt and Road as key in terms of stabilizing growth while the country further opens and improves the economy, said Zhao Yang, chief China economist of Nomura, Japan's leading financial institution.
