(KGTV) — This Halloween, if trick-or-treating isn't quite enough why not venture out to a Southern California theme park for some thrills.Disneyland, SeaWorld, Legoland, and more are celebrating the spookiest time of year with several themed rides, shows, and events sure to deliver frightful fun.Head over to one of these parks for a day filled with Halloween scares and delights:Disneyland: Celebrate Halloween time at Disneyland with the Haunted Mansion, which is decked out with spooky holiday fun with Jack Skellington and friends. The park is also packing seasonal fun into Main Street with the Main Street Pumpkin Festival and Halloween Screams fireworks show. (KGTV) - The man accused of carrying out dozens of rapes and at least 12 murders across California in the 1970s and '80s did not enter a plea at his arraignment Friday.Joseph James DeAngelo, 72, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer cases.He was handcuffed in a wheelchair during his court appearance, and listened to the judge with his eyes barely open.In a frail voice, DeAngelo responded, "I have a lawyer." An attorney from the public defender's office was with him in court.He was denied bail.DeAngelo, a former California police officer, is charged in Sacramento County with two counts of murder in the 1978 killings of Brian Maggiore and his wife, Katie, and with additional murder charges in Ventura County. (KGTV) - The beloved American holiday classic cartoons featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the Peanuts gang return to ABC in the weeks ahead. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” debuted in 1965 as the first animated show featuring Peanuts. It was brought to life by the comic strip’s creator Charles Schulz and director Bill Melendez. In a rare move for the time, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy and the other characters were voiced by children, producer Lee Mendelson wrote in a book about the film. Also unique was the jazz soundtrack created by pianist Vince Guaraldi.
