As Hurricane Dorian approached South Carolina on Thursday, people on Myrtle Beach couldn’t help but stare — not at the hurricane but at the red Jeep Grand Cherokee that had been seemingly abandoned right on the beach. The Jeep was driverless and stranded as it sat in the wind and high waters. Bystanders gathered around the vehicle. Some even stopped to pose for selfies with it.And one person even brought out the bagpipes.A lone bagpiper played “Amazing Grace” for the abandoned Jeep on Thursday, according to video posted by Timothy Kipp on Facebook. 570
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — NASA is rolling out the International Space Station's red carpet for Tom Cruise. Administrator Jim Bridenstine said before Wednesday's planned launch of two astronauts aboard a SpaceX rocket that Elon Musk's company is already getting customers eager to fly into orbit. Bridenstine says he doesn't admit it often, but he was inspired to become a Navy pilot after watching Cruise's blockbuster movie "Top Gun." He says if Cruise can make a new movie in space that inspires the next generation Elon Musk, "NASA is all in." He's leaving it to Cruise and SpaceX to provide a rundown on the upcoming mission. 643

The biggest victims of the writing are peace loving citizens in our poorest community and as their president I will fight to keep them safe. -- of the rioting. I will fight to protect you."It's unclear how Trump can force states to implement the Insurrection Act of 1807. The Posse Comitatus Act limits the president from using the military for domestic purposes. The crowd was dispersed not because of violence, but instead to move protesters out of the way so Trump could leave the White House to "pay his respects" to a nearby church. 1326
