BEIJING, June 18 (Xinhua) -- China on Tuesday said its determination to maintain the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is unwavering and is willing to continue to make efforts for the full and effective implementation of the JCPOA.
China urges the U.S. side to fully recognize the seriousness of Taiwan-related issues, honor its commitment to the one-China principle and the three China-U.S. joint communiques with action, and correctly handle Taiwan-related issues in accordance with the important consensus, reached by heads of state of the two countries, on advancing bilateral ties based on coordination, stability, and cooperation, he said.
Besides, Japan had been in Washington's cross-hairs for its exports of automobiles and car parts to the United States.
In his address to the plenary session of the 23rd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Xi said the global governance system is facing uNPRecedented inadaptation and asymmetry to the changes in international situation, as emerging market economies and developing countries are rising at an uNPRecedented speed, with intense competition brought by a new round of technology and industrial revolution.
