BEIJING, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- China has decided to put more administrative services online to improve transparency and efficiency in the government's work, the State Council announced Wednesday.

"As Chinese President Xi Jinping said in his speech at the Arab League, China would like to play a greater role in solving the Middle East problems. So, we call on every side to prioritize the fundamental interests of the region and we'd like to help the regional states find their own right path for development," Song added.

Administrative services that can be carried out online, such as business registration and accreditation, should not require on the spot handling, according to the statement.

China highly values its relations with the Philippines, and is ready to work with the country to cement political trust and mutually beneficial cooperation, properly handle differences and become good partners, Xi said during talks with Duterte in Beijing.

He called on both sides to implement the consensus reached by the two countries' presidents, strengthen political mutual trust and support each other on issues regarding core interests and major concerns.
