NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The NFL has postponed Sunday’s game between the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers to allow for additional time for COVID-19 testing. In a statement released Wednesday, the league said it wants to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel. The NFL said the game will be played on either Monday or Tuesday. The date and time will be announced “as soon as possible.”New from the league pic.twitter.com/RnLcZ9mSPj— Brian McCarthy (@NFLprguy) September 30, 2020 The postponement comes after at least three Titans players and five employees for the team tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Coach Mike Vrabel said some of those who tested positive are experiencing flu-like symptoms, but nothing out of the ordinary.Following the positive tests, the NFL said the Titans would suspend in-person club activities, as would the Minnesota Vikings, who played the Titans on Sunday. The Vikings said in a statement Tuesday that none of their players or personnel members have tested positive for the virus since their game.“Both clubs are working closely with the NFL and NFLPA, including our infectious disease experts, to evaluate close contacts, perform additional testing and monitor developments,” the NFL said. The Titans' outbreak marks the biggest COVID-19 scare the league has experienced to date. Between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, the league conducted 180,274 COVID-19 tests among players and team personnel. Just 30 of those tests have come back positive. This weekend's game was supposed to be the first of the season that Tennessee fans would be allowed inside Nissan Stadium, WTVF reports. 1651

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wisc. — A Wisconsin woman claims a billion Foxconn factory could threaten her dream home. Kimberly Mahoney says her family spent nearly 0,000 customizing their dream home. They moved in February 2017. Her house rests where the new Foxconn development will be. Her comments come before a public hearing detailing plans, which is set for Tuesday night.Village President Dave DeGroot, who calls the billion investment a once in a generation opportunity, says the homes in the development and road improvement areas are being purchased at 140-percent market value. But Mahoney claims her home is not in the road improvement zone where she must agree to sell. She claims the village is trying to "skirt the law" by declaring her property as a blighted area on the development site."This area doesn't qualify for the new definition of blight that the Wisconsin Legislature put in Chapter 32 that says the properties are dilapidated or deteriorated, or run down, or are a safety or health risk," said Mahoney."I don't think its fair to characterize it that we are skirting any laws," said DeGroot. "We are being very upfront, very forthright, very transparent with how we are going about this process. There is a statutory process that we follow and we'll continue to do that.""I think they've tried to bully people and be intimidating and say this is all we're going to give you and if you don't take it you'll get less," claimed Mahoney."Our hope is that we'll be successful with all the land acquisition and people will be going away happy," said DeGroot. The village attorney plans to give a presentation before public comment at  5 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Village Hall.Mahoney showed us the seven pages of notes she plans to read aloud at the public hearing.  1855

More than 20 fire departments are working to burn down a Beaver Dam, Wisconsin apartment building where a deadly explosion happened last week. City officials said dangerous chemicals inside of the structure made it too dangerous for residents to re-enter, and that burning the building to the ground is the safest way to prevent any injuries."We have carefully reviewed this, and we firmly believe this is the action that needs to be taken, unfortunately," said Beaver Dam Fire Chief Alan Mannel at a Wednesday evening news conference. The five, neighboring buildings in the apartment complex were evacuated ahead of Thursday's controlled burn. Streets in the area were shut down at 9 a.m.Around 10 o'clock, firefighters lit both ends of the apartment building at 109 Knaup Dr. on fire and allowed it to burn towards the middle. Large shipping containers were placed around building 109 to help contain the heat and flames. Mannel said staffing of the fire trucks surrounding the building is minimal, and that firefighters only plan to step in and control the flames if they threatened any of the nearby structures. Police on Wednesday identified 28-year old Benjamin Morrow as the man killed in last Monday's blast. According to authorities, Morrow lived in one of the units.Beaver Dam Police Chief John Kreuziger said investigators continue to suspect that Morrow was building a bomb inside of the apartment. According to his obituary, Morrow worked in the quality department at Richelieu Foods in Beaver Dam for almost a year. His obituary describes him as "a hard worker" who "had a good rapport with all those around him."Police and the FBI continue to investigate why Morrow was in possession of the volatile chemicals that required them to eventually burn the building down.Kreuziger on Wednesday declined to comment on what the chemicals inside of the apartment were. City officials said the plan is for evacuated residents to be allowed back into their homes this evening. That's also when they plan to re-open nearby streets. The EPA has placed air monitoring devices in the area. Mannel said the EPA can also test the air in individual apartments within the evacuation zone at the request of residents. 2336

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A new piece of evidence in the case of a missing Tennessee 5-year-old indicates that Joe Clyde Daniels could still be alive. The boy disappeared in April and investigators have long presumed he is dead. But, his body has never been found. Scripps station WTVF in Nashville obtained photos of the letter that was sent anonymously to Joe Clyde's grandparents. The handwritten letter was postmarked out of Nashville. It was sent this week to the grandparents in Dickson, Tennessee. The anonymous writer claims Joe Clyde's mother, Krystal Daniels, arranged to give the little boy away."I believe Krystal got Joe's clothes, packed them into a bag... and left Joe on the side of the road," the letter says. The writer claims that he is alive and living in west Tennessee, possibly in Jackson. "If we could get Krystal to confess what really happened...with this case. I know it's a bizarre case," the letter reads. The letter goes on to name those involved. WTVF has chosen not to reveal the names because the individuals have not been named by police as part of the investigation. Jake Lockert, the attorney for Joseph Daniels — Joe Clyde's father who is charged in his death — confirmed the grandparents have turned the letter over to authorities. Investigators have yet to comment on the new evidence.  Police say Krystal Daniels had motive against Joe Clyde. Investigators tell NewsChannel 5 she was frustrated with raising a child with autism and was angry the family was forced to give away their dogs because of him.  The letter doesn't mention the child's father. Earlier this year, investigators said Joseph Daniels confessed to killing his son. However, his attorney argues the confession was coerced. To this day, investigators said Joseph Daniels has not been able to tell them what happened to his son's remains.   1940
