Two New Jersey Transit buses collided outside the Lincoln Tunnel in Manhattan on Friday, injuring more than 30 people, fire officials said.The crash happened outside the north tube on the tunnel's Manhattan side. (KGTV) - Escondido Police shot and killed a man Saturday night steps away from the entrance to the Valley View Casino in North San Diego County, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.The shooting happened about 8 p.m. following a brief pursuit.Lt. Rich Williams with SDSO said Escondido Police had been called to a home in that area around 7:35 p.m. for a "disturbance call."A potential suspect got into a vehicle, leading officers to the casino's valet entrance.Casino visitor Jonathan King-Cretot said he was sitting near the front of the casino when he heard about four gunshots."Everyone screamed 'gun' and ran to the back of the casino," King-Cretot said. 725

VALLEY CENTER (KGTV)- A former North County school security guard was sentenced Thursday after he was found guilty of sending inappropriate pictures to children online. Steven Lloyd Duncan was arrested by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in December 2018. Six months later he was sentenced to four years in state prison. Duncan was found guilty of four different charges related to child pornography. According to investigators, Duncan used social media platforms like Instagram to communicate with girls ranging in age of 10 to 14 years old. Investigators say he sent photos to underage children and received photos from children. During the investigation, 600 images and 350 videos of child pornography were found on Duncan’s phone and commuter. Duncan was a security guard at Valley Center High School for 11 years but the investigation shows the acts happened after his time working for the district. 928

VALLEY CENTER (CNS) - A person was killed Tuesday evening in a head-on car crash in Valley Center, a small town east of Oceanside.A car apparently being driven the wrong way hit another vehicle head- on about 7 p.m. near Valley Center Road and Waaash Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.Fire crews were called to the scene to rescue a person trapped in one of the vehicles, according to the CHP. It was not immediately clear if the trapped person is the individual who was killed in the crash.Further information was not released. 551
