Over 900 Dutch companies are doing business and investing in China and the number is growing, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said at the China-Netherlands Business Forum. Ahead of the event, enterprises of the two countries signed a series of agreements worth nearly 10 billion U.S. dollars.
Xi urged both countries to combat security challenges, play a constructive role in promoting peace and security in Western Africa and the whole African continent, and strengthen coordination in the United Nations (UN) Security Council so as to safeguard rights and benefits of developing countries.
Next year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the 100th anniversary of work-study program in France, which will be of special significance for China-France relations, Wang said.
"There's a good mutual understanding and good working relationship between the two (leaders), I hope and I'm sure this will continue," the ambassador added.
Xi called for comprehensive measures to make certain that the region can retain talent.
