Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has received the most votes than anyone who has ever run for president.According to the FEC and The New York Times, Biden has received 70,224,898 votes so far, breaking the record set by his former running mate, Barack Obama, who earned 66,862,039 votes in 2008.That's with 86% of the votes reported.Trump currently has 67,423,592 votes.USA Today reported that many of those votes came in early voting, which set records too, with 101.2 million people making their pick ahead of Election Day.In 2016, Donald Trump received 62,985,106 votes, The Times reported. 610

DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) — Del Mar Fairgrounds and city officials met Tuesday to devise a traffic plan with one of the main arteries to the venue closed.Northbound Jimmy Durante Boulevard has been blocked off since a bluff collapse in late April.The road won't reopen until at least June 4, but the county fair opens May 31. "People are going to start going back through the neighborhood, or you're just going to sit in line," said Del Mar resident Jim Murff. Del Mar City Manager Scott Huth said plans include increased signage to instruct fairgoers to stay on Interstate 5 to the Via de la Valle exit. He said the city would also hire "flaggers" to direct drivers past the stop signs in its beachfront neighborhood, north to Via de la Valle. "Even with the flaggers that delay is not going to be as efficient as getting off (the freeway) at Via de la Valle," Huth said. Annie Pierce, a spokeswoman for the fairgrounds, said the fair would operate at least three days while northbound Jimmy Durante Boulevard is closed. She noted, however, that the opening few days of the fair are generally slower. 1107

DETROIT — Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan was packed with people for Michelle Obama’s book tour Tuesday night.Although, before she hit the big stage, the former first lady made a visit to the famous Motown Museum, where a group of college students were surprised when she walked through the door.The group of teenagers, ages 18 and younger, all attend Wayne State University. They were at a forum to discuss various topics such as education, culture issues, goals and overcoming obstacles.The event moderator was actor, comedian and Detroit-native Keegan-Michael Key. A viewer of WKBW-TV in Buffalo, New York, who saw a story offered to donate the entire 0 dollars she lost back to her. Then, Marcia Bukowski's letter carrier came knocking on her door with the 0 payment. "They got my money," Bukowski screams. "I've got to open it!"All 0 had been returned to her and Bukowski said it was like a weight lifted from her shoulders.“I did not plan any of this I swear to God," she said. "I never seen that postal lady!”To the dozens of people who reached out Bukowski to offer her some financial help, she says thank you.“What a relief, what a relief," she said. Despite a prenatal condition that left him without a hand, Shaquem Griffin has always dreamed of playing in the NFL. On Saturday the Seattle Seahawks made that dream a reality — and gave Griffin the unique opportunity to play alongside his twin brother.Griffin was born a few minutes after his brother in 1995 with amniotic band syndrome. The condition left him with an underdeveloped hand that caused him severe pain, and Griffin later had his entire left hand amputated.Despite the setback, Griffin took up football and still routinely dominated opponents at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg. When he signed to play collegiately at Central Florida in 2013, recruiting service Rivals listed him as a 3-star prospect.Griffin and his brother, Shaquill Griffin, continued stellar play together in college. Shaquill left UCF a year early and was drafted by the Seahawks in 2017. While Shaquill played in the NFL, Shaquem stayed behind and lead the Knights to an undefeated season at linebacker, recording 74 tackles, an interception and a fumble return for a touchdown.At the NFL Combine earlier this year, Shaquem stunned scouts by bench pressing 225 pounds 20 times while wearing a prosthetic hand.
