The last few days have been filled with this unsettling thought in the back of my mind. Trying to stay positive about it all, but seeing the flames breach over the hill last night really puts everything into perspective. I’m beyond thankful for the firefighters and emergency personnel who are doing their best to fight this blaze. As painful as it is to watch the hills and trails I have grown up on burn or how eerily the fire is creeping towards our community; it’s important to remember that all of these things are just things. Everyone is safe and if we need to evacuate we will have more then enough time to do so.
