(KGTV) - A brush fire erupted near homes in the Eastlake area of Chula Vista Tuesday, but no evacuations were ordered as crews doused the flames.The fire was reported shortly after 9 a.m. near the 400 block of Agua Vista Drive, according to Cal Fire officials.The blaze briefly burned vegetation several yards from some homes, but crews in the air and on the ground were able to stop the fire’s spread before it reached structures.After nearly two hours, crews contained the fire to 44 acres burned.10News learned the fire may have been accidentally caused by landscapers using equipment to clear out weeds. 635

CINCINNATI -- A fire at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden Monday evening summoned 40 firefighters and caused ,000 in damage but did not harm any humans or animals, according to District Fire Chief Randal Freel.The fire started in a restaurant food smoker around 5:25 p.m., Freel said. Zheath Sanchez.The warrants followed "numerous community complaints related to unlicensed and illegal dispensaries, some located in residential neighborhoods and near local schools," Sanchez said.Taken into custody were:-- Samir Shoshani, 34, of Jamul and Iisin Mikha, 28, of Michigan, for conspiracy and operating or maintaining a drug house-- Brandon Ceja, 23, of San Diego, for being a felon in possession of a firearm-- Ariel Brown, 23, of Chula Vista, for possession of metal knuckles and possession of marijuana for sale-- Faith Ford, 22, of San Diego for possession of marijuana for saleIn addition to the marijuana, deputies seized marijuana edibles, concentrated cannabis, suspected Psilocybin mushrooms, and 20 firearms, including three semi-automatic rifles, Sanchez said.Two of the illegal dispensaries were located in Spring Valley, one in the 9900 block of Dolores Street and the other in 9500 block of Kenwood Drive.Two others were located in Lakeside, in the 8500 block of Winter Gardens Boulevard and the 900 block of Greenfield Drive in Lakeside.The fifth illegal dispensary was located in Chula Vista in the 300 block of Palomar Street. 1639
