Tropical Storm Epsilon has strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane.As of 11 p.m. Tuesday, Epsilon is moving toward the northwest near 13 mph.This general motion is expected to continue tonight, followed by a slightly slower west-northwestward motion on Wednesday.A turn toward the north-northwest is expected on Thursday.On the forecast track, Epsilon is forecast to move closer to Bermuda on Thursday and make its closest approach to the island on Thursday night.Epsilon now has maximum sustained winds near 75 mph with higher gusts. Additional strengthening is forecast during the next day or two.A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Bermuda.In the most active hurricane season on record, in 2005, late-season storms continued late into the year. Tropical Storm Alpha and Hurricane Beta developed in late October. Tropical Storm Gamma, Tropical Storm Delta, and Hurricane Epsilon developed in November. Tropical Storm Zeta developed after the official hurricane season in late December.The last-named storm of the 2020 season was Hurricane Delta. Tyler Glenn, lead singer of the popular band Neon Trees, is recovering after suffering a stroke last week.In a post to Instagram on Monday, Glenn, 36, said that he woke up Thursday feeling "foggy and not seeing clearly out of my right eye."Glenn wrote that he held off going to the hospital to see if his condition would improve, but visited an ophthalmologist when he woke up the next morning feeling the same way.The doctor found a retinal edema in Glenn's eye and told him he had suffered a stroke. Glenn was admitted to Intermountain Medical Center for cardiology and neurological tests."I’m quite freaked out being 36, ostensibly healthy and having this happen." said Glenn. "I’m still awaiting reasons why, although my labs and the results show a clean bill of health in my heart and blood."Glenn says he still has cloudy vision in his eye, but was told the condition could dissipate.Glenn ended the post with a health recommendation for all his fans."I appreciate the love and support, and hope I can at least get an answer as to why this occurred. UPDATE (3:31 p.m.): SDPD says 12-year-old Rhode has been found safe.SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police on Saturday were searching for a missing 12-year-old girl.Police said 12-year-old "Rhode" was last seen in the Barrio Logan neighborhood. No further information was immediately released.She's described as 5'4", about 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Twitter has suspended far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones from its platform for one week.The news was first shared by an InfoWars personality, who tweeted a screenshot of Jones' Twitter account -- indicating the company limited some of Jones' account features temporarily.A Twitter spokesperson confirmed the authenticity of the screenshot. The spokesperson said the content which prompted Twitter to suspend Jones was a video published Tuesday in which he said, "now is time to act on the enemy before they do a false flag."On Friday, one day after a CNN investigation found that Jones' Twitter accounts appeared to have repeatedly violated the company's rules, Twitter said the accounts belonging to Jones and his fringe media organization InfoWars would remain online.At the time, a Twitter spokesperson said the company concluded that of the more than a dozen tweets included in CNN's Thursday report, seven were found to have violated Twitter's rules. Twitter would have required those tweets to be deleted, if they were to have remained up.But after CNN's investigation was published, the tweets cited in it were almost immediately deleted from the social media website. Jones said on his program that he had instructed his staff to do so and "take the super high road," though he contested whether the tweets violated any Twitter rules.Twitter is one of the only major social media companies that has not scrubbed its platform of Jones or InfoWars. Recently, Jones has seen the vast majority of the social media infrastructure for his media empire crumble.
