SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The plaques at the Hillcrest pride monument have been restores after being vandalized in February. According to the Hillcrest Business Association, the repairs cost roughly ,500. All the money came through donations from local businesses, the association said. The plaques were vandalized in early February. Pictures show faces and the pride flag scratched out. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Three men were arrested in Tijuana for the brutal murder of three teens in Mexico, including two from San Diego. The three suspects, identified only as Fabricio, Esteban Manuel and Alejandro were arrested at an unknown time, authorities in Mexico say. 17-year-old Christopher Alexis Gomez and 18-year-old Juan Suarez Ojeda were found shot to death in Tijuana on November 25. Both teenagers attended O'Farrell Charter School in Encanto. Another teen believed to be Ojeda’s friend was also killed. Garcia said her cousin planned to head to a barbecue in Ensenada on Friday. Investigators believe all three teenagers were taken from an apartment complex at gunpoint before being killed. It’s still unknown why the teens may have been targeted. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The San Diego FBI and prosecutors Monday announced a million reward for a wanted terrorist.According to the agency, Jehad Serwan Mostafa, 37, is a U.S citizen. During a Monday news conference, the FBI called Mostafa the “highest ranking American fighting overseas.” The FBI says Mostafa grew up in San Diego and, at some point, moved to Somalia and became a member of the al-Shabaab terrorist organization.
