The Tampa Police Department is searching for a young man who was caught on camera doing a skateboard trick across a custom-painted car in Ybor City.A spokesperson for the police department said the case is being investigated as a felony criminal mischief. Detectives would like to speak with Dalton Newbury as a person of interest. According to those who have shared the video that's getting thousands of shares on Facebook, it was originally posted to Instagram by the skateboarder himself. The US Coast Guard was searching Friday for a passenger who reportedly went overboard from a cruise ship about 35 miles south of the Florida Keys.The 26-year-old man was on the Carnival Victory cruise ship below Islamorada when the incident occurred, officials said.Vance Gulliksen, a spokesman for Carnival Cruise Line, said the vessel was headed back to Miami, its home port, when the man disappeared."All appropriate authorities, including the United States Coast Guard, were notified, and the ship has joined in the search and rescue efforts," Gulliksen said in a statement.Carnival Victory was completing a four-day cruise.A Coast Guard plane, helicopter and cutter were involved in the search. 707

The Walt Disney Co. has “dramatically” slashed its advertising budget on Facebook and Facebook-owned Instagram, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.It’s the latest setback for the social network, which is facing a growing advertising boycott over its policies and actions on hate speech on its platforms. The Journal, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter, said the time frame for Disney’s pullback was not clear.Disney was Facebook’s biggest U.S. advertiser for the first six months of 2020, according to research firm Pathmatics Inc. Disney joins hundreds of other companies that have paused spending on the service. The report did not say whether Disney is officially joining the ad boycott. The turnaround at SeaWorld might be real.The theme park owner reported that visitors to SeaWorld grew 5 percent for the quarter, the second consecutive quarter that attendance rose.Sales and attendance figures topped forecasts, and shares surged more than 15 percent to a four-year high. Its stock is up more than 80 percent this year.SeaWorld has struggled since a documentary called "Blackfish" aired in theaters and on CNN in 2013. The film focused on an orca that had killed people, including a trainer, and suggested that the conditions in which it was confined at SeaWorld contributed to its violent behavior. The company has disputed certain points in the documentary.Interim CEO John Reilly said new rides, discounted prices for annual passes and a new marketing strategy that focuses on animal rescue efforts helped push the good results.
