CINCINNATI -- Police have identified a suspect in the theft of a butterfly from the Krohn Conservatory.Jamie Revis, of Springfield Township, is wanted on a charge of theft, Cincinnati police announced Friday. Earlier, police said someone stole a blue morpho butterfly from the conservatory's butterfly show April 15.The species is native to Central and South American forests.University of Cincinnati biology professors Stephen Matter and Patrick Guerra said last week that the butterfly was likely dead, given its biological need for a warmer climate than the one Cincinnati has experienced at the time. 622

Chobani is the latest company this year to raise its minimum wage to an hour.In a press release, Chobani's CEO and Founder Hamdi Ulukaya announced on Monday that the change would happen during the first quarter of 2021."This moment of uncertainty is a call for us to join together to strengthen communities and support those working tirelessly to make the food on the tables of families across America," said Ulukaya in the news release. CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Faith leaders and business owners in Chula Vista attended a training Monday night to learn how to plan and prepare for an active shooter threat. Chula Vista police lieutenant, Dan Peak, tells 10News the department received several calls after the Poway Synagogue shooting, asking officers how they could stay safe in the event of an active shooter at their place of worship or business. Chula Vista Police Sergeant, Mike Varga, provided the training for the community. Varga's presentation included a history of active shooters, red flags to look out for, and what to do if you find yourself in an active shooter situation. His advice in that situation is to run, hide or fight. During the presentation, Varga played a 9-minute video detailing exactly what one can do to survive a shooting. Varga also told the audience to listen to their intuition, meaning if someone is displaying red flags, alert the police and let investigators decide whether or not there is a threat. (KGTV) - Southbound Interstate 5 shut down during rush hour Wednesday evening to search a car possibly linked to a robbery for explosives, California Highway Patrol officers said.The car was pulled over about 5:10 p.m. at Main Street in Chula Vista, CHP officials said.San Diego Police said the stop was related to the robbery of the US Bank at 3201 University Ave. in North Park at 4:48 p.m. during which a man referred to explosives.All southbound lanes of traffic stopped at 5:20 p.m. as officers searched the car for explosives. CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A survey of Chula Vista residents and businesses show the economic toll the pandemic has taken on the city.The results of the July survey were recently released. It polled 576 businesses and nearly 800 residents.It showed nearly all businesses have seen a decline in revenue during the pandemic. As of the end of July, only half of businesses surveyed were fully open. About half of the businesses in the report also decrease their workforce. It also said 60 percent of unemployment in the city is due to COVID-19 and many have struggled to find new job opportunities.60 percent of businesses surveyed said given current projections, they anticipate closing within six months.Alita Fernandez is the director of Play City in Eastlake, an indoor playground for children. She said her workplace has been closed since March.“On the business side, it’s been very tough, but also on the personal side,” Fernandez said.She is not surprised by the grim numbers reported in the survey.“There are expenses that need to be covered… money comes in, the same thing goes out,” Fernandez said. Except now, there is no money coming in for many businesses.Fernandez and 15 other employees have lost their jobs until the planned reopening in January 2021.
