Actress Sienna Miller says that her co-star in "21 Bridges," Chadwick Boseman, relinquished part of his salary to help cover their compensation disparity.Miller's revelation comes in the newest edition of Empire magazine, which pays tribute to the actor who died earlier this month amid a secret fight with colon cancer at the age of 43.Miller says that Boseman approached her about starring the 2019 police thriller, but the opportunity came after months of "working non-stop." Even though she wanted to work with Boseman, she said she was "hesitant to go back to work" because "her daughter was going back to school and it was an inconvenient time."As a result, Miller told the studio producing "21 Bridges" that she would only star in the film if she was compensated "the right way," even though she was asking for a figure that the studio would not pay her.However, Boseman — who was a producer on the film — said he would donate a portion of his salary to help Miller get the compensation she needed.“It was about the most astounding thing that I've experienced,” Miller told Empire. “That kind of thing just doesn't happen. After Florida's voter registration site crashed just hours before the deadline, voters in the Sunshine State have until 7 p.m. Tuesday night to get registered to vote in the 2020 general election.Tuesday morning, Florida's Secretary of State, Laurel Lee, released a statement saying that she met with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to brief him on Monday night's issues with the site.Citing "unprecedented volume" as the cause of the issues, Lee wrote that officials are working with law enforcement to ensure the issue wasn't "a deliberate act against the voting process."A few hours later, Lee extended the voter registration deadline to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.Floridians who weren't able to register on Monday can do so online, through their county supervisor of elections office, through their local tax collector's office or through paper applications submitted by Tuesday. 881

There's a lot of need for medical tech, so people are coming up with new apps on how do we track our area with the COVID-19 virus," says Abell.He says it can be tough for some people who are finding themselves out of work and an expert in just one industry to suddenly pivot to another. The SBA says some are turning their hobbies into businesses."They have a great sauce or they have a great product that they can make at home and they can use Amazon and do the shipping services to market their products. So, I think a lot of people are being very experimental right now," says Abell.People who focus on delivery services are also finding business is booming. And many of these businesses are benefiting from easier access to loans."This is an amazing time right now. A lot of people are refinancing their homes and getting the lowest interest rate possible. Well, guess what, starting your business is a very similar process," says Abell.The key right now for people who are thinking of starting a brand new business is to think through your plan and funding needs. And make sure the business can thrive in the current state of our economy."It's good that they have a business plan and have someone helping them with the business plan to make sure it's sustainable," says Abell.The SBA has free tools available to potential, new and longtime business owners on their website.
