After an hours-long standoff, the suspect became agitated and pointed a gun at officers, Sibley said. Officers then shot the suspect.The suspect was taken into custody and rushed to St. Vincent Hospital in serious condition, but is expected to survive. No officers were injured in the shooting.Roads in the area were closed during the standoff, which lasted several hours.The incident remains under investigation.
