Tired: Mr. Monopoly. Wired: Ms. Monopoly. One of America's most recognizable board games is getting an upgrade. Hasbro is debuting a new game celebrating women's empowerment -- Ms. Monopoly, marking the first time in Monopoly history when a new mascot will be featured on the cover of the game. The twist? In Ms. Monopoly, female players will get more money.Unlike the classic game, women will collect 240 Monopoly bucks when they pass "go," while male players will collect the usual 200. The idea is to create a game where women make more than men, the first game to do so, according to Hasbro. It's "a fun new take on the game that creates a world where women have an advantage often enjoyed by men," the company said in a statement. "But don't worry, if men play their cards right, they can make more money too."That's not the only difference, though. Instead of buying property, players will invest in inventions created by women -- things like Wi-Fi and chocolate chip cookies. But no worries -- mainstays such as jail, luxury taxes and chance cards are still included. The announcement of Ms. Monopoly comes a few weeks after the company received criticism for Monopoly Socialism -- a tongue-in-cheek game that sparked debate for its flippant handling of socialism. Hasbro also debuted Monopoly for Millennials in 2018, poking fun at stereotypical millennial trends such as avocado toast and veganism.Ms. Monopoly will be available for pre-order beginning September 10. 1483

The Trump administration is proposing to restructure its US Forest Service program that trains low-income, rural students how to respond to national emergencies. The National Federation of Federal Employees, the union that represents Forest Service employees, says the move will cut more than 1,000 jobs. The Job Corps Civilian Conservation Centers will be moved from the US Department of Agriculture to the US Department of Labor, and, in the process, nine of the 25 programs' centers will be closed down in states like Wisconsin, Kentucky, Virginia and Oregon."This action creates an opportunity to serve a greater number of students at higher performing centers at a lower cost to taxpayers by modernizing and reforming part of the Job Corps program," the Labor Department said, announcing the restructuring on Friday. The remaining 16 centers will "continue under new contract operator or partnership," the agency said.In a note to staff on Friday, Forest Service Chief Victoria Christiansen addressed what she said will be a "very difficult transition" and acknowledged that they will seek a "reduction in force."Christiansen said the transition is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2019.CNN has reached out to the Labor Department. The National Federation of Federal Employees said it expects 1,065 jobs to be eliminated by September. The Labor Department release does not, however, say how many federal jobs will be affected."This is a politically motivated attack that oddly enough, offends both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and in communities across the country," the union's president, Randy Erwin, said in a 1644

There are a lot of myths circulating about COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus. Let's break the facts. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, coughing and shortness of breath. Symptoms can appear two and 14 days after exposure.Doctors draw comparisons to the flu.“Coronavirus is also interesting because it doesn't seem to be quite as infectious as common influenza,” said Dr. Shauna Gulley.Dr. Gulley with the large health system Centura Health has worked with coronavirus patients during this outbreak."Many of those people are quite well and have very minimal symptoms and do not need additional interaction with the health care system,” said Dr. Gulley. "We do believe in people that are, perhaps, older or have multiple medical problems such as diabetes or anything that makes your immune system weaker, that coronavirus may be more dangerous than influenza.”Dr. Gulley says it’s still unclear why coronavirus has been mild in children. She has advice on what people should do. "First of all, the worry about going and getting toilet paper, I don't think that should be first and foremost on anyone's list today,” said Dr. Gulley. While it’s important to be prepared, it’s important to not go overboard."We are seeing people come into our environments and take soap, masks and other supplies home to try to stockpile that in their homes,” Dr. Gulley said. "One of our hospitals actually had all of their soaps and hand sanitizers stolen last week."She also says people need to know how to use hand sanitizer."The myths around putting it on your body or on your face is where we get into trouble. Those things are not safe for people to do,” said Dr. Gulley. The CDC says people at a higher risk should avoid crowds. Dr. Gulley says it’s a good idea to keep your space."We believe that staying about six feet away from somebody with symptoms is the most protective space,” Dr. Gulley said.As the number of cases grows in the United States, public anxiety may be growing with it. So, don’t fear communicating if you’re dealing with another kind of medical issue.“If you're an allergy sufferer, I think it's important for you to talk to others about the fact that you have allergies and for them to be a little bit more assured that you're not infected. You have no fever, you have no deep cough and you have no risk factors for coronavirus,” Dr. Gulley said.If you are experiencing symptoms, call your doctor. 2494

To say that Vice President Joe Biden has seen momentum in recent days might be an understatement. After a convincing win on Saturday in South Carolina, Biden picked up endorsements from three of his former Democratic nomination rivals on Monday.Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who both have withdrawn from the presidential race since Saturday's race in South Carolina, endorsed Joe Biden for president ahead of a big Super Tuesday contest. Biden also picked up the support of former Rep. Beto O'Rourke, who dropped out in late 2019. Klobuchar and O'Rourke joined Biden on stage at a rally in Dallas. Buttigieg also appeared with Biden earlier in the evening at a gathering of supporters. The endorsements come a day before Super Tuesday, when 14 states and American Samoa will vote on the remaining Democratic presidential nominees.Klobuchar dropped out of the race on Monday, one day before Buttigieg. Their withdrawal from the race came after disappointing finishes in South Carolina on Saturday, where Biden claimed a decisive victory. The former rivals' decisions reflect an urgent push among moderates to consolidate behind Biden as a counter candidate to rival Sen. Bernie Sanders, who describes himself as a democratic socialist.Throughout the race, all three candidates ran as moderate candidates, distancing themselves from competitors like Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who ran on more progressive platforms. 1467
